The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Of its current 11 full members located in four Northeastern states such as Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.

Iona Preparatory School, or simply Iona Prep, is an independent, Roman Catholic, all-male, college-preparatory school located in the north end of New Rochelle, New York, in suburban Westchester County. It consists of the Upper School for Grades 9 through 12 and the Lower School for Grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The primary and secondary schools are located on separate and nearby campuses less than a mile apart on Stratton Road. It is a privately-owned independent school without parochial affiliation and is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. The school was named for the Scottish island of Iona, the school was founded in 1916 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers.
NYU Violets is the nickname of the sports teams and other competitive teams at New York University. The school colors are purple and white. Although officially known as the Violets, the school mascot is a bobcat. The Violets compete as a member of NCAA Division III in the University Athletic Association conference. Tucker Field at Barcroft Park is a baseball venue located in Arlington, Virginia, US. The field is home to the George Washington Colonials baseball team of the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. The field holds a capacity of 500 spectators. The field is officially designated Tucker Field at Barcroft Park Field #6 and includes a new turf field laid in 2019 by FieldTurf, bullpens, enclosed dugouts, bleachers, lights, scoreboard, and pressbox.
Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium is a baseball venue located on the campus of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team, a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Division I and the Mid-American Conference East Division. The field opened in 1966 and was previously known as Gene Michael Field from 1990 to 2003. The field was renamed in late 2003 and renovated in 2005 with additional upgrades made from 2006 through 2008 and again in 2013 to 2014. It has a seating capacity of 1,148 people with a Shaw Sports Turf synthetic playing surface.
Malcolm U. Pitt Field is a baseball venue located on the campus of the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, United States. The field is home to the Richmond Spiders baseball team of the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. The field is named after former Spiders baseball and basketball coach Malcolm U. Pitt. It has a capacity of 600 people.
The Iona Gaels men's basketball team represents Iona University in New Rochelle, New York in NCAA Division I competition. The school's team competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and plays home games in Hynes Athletic Center. On March 21, 2023, the Gaels hired Tobin Anderson as their head coach.
The Iona Gaels football program was the intercollegiate American football team for Iona College located in New Rochelle, New York. The team competed in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and were a FCS Independent school, after formerly competing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference from 1993 to 2007. The school's first football team was fielded in 1965. Iona participated in football from 1965 to 2008, compiling an all-time record of 196–214–7. The Iona football program was discontinued at the conclusion of the 2008 season.
Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park is a baseball venue in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. It is home to the Dartmouth Big Green baseball team of the NCAA Division I Ivy League. The field portion of the facility is named for Red Rolfe, Dartmouth Class of 1931, former New York Yankees player and Dartmouth athletic director from 1954–1967.

It is the home field of the Northern Kentucky Norse baseball team, a member of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. The complex is named for Bill Aker, who was the head coach of Northern Kentucky baseball from 1971 to 2000. It has a capacity of 500 spectators.

John W. Smithson Field is a baseball venue in Merion Station, Pennsylvania, United States. It is home to the Saint Joseph's Hawks baseball team of the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. The field hosted its first game in spring 2012. The venue has a capacity of 400 spectators. It is named for John Smithson, Saint Joseph's alumni and once interim president of Saint Joseph's University.
John P. Bobo Field is a baseball venue in Lewiston, New York, United States. It is home to the Niagara Purple Eagles baseball team of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The field's namesake is John P. Bobo, a Niagara Falls native and 1965 alumni.
The 2020–21 Iona Gaels men's basketball team represented Iona College in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Gaels, led by first-year head coach Rick Pitino, played their home games at the Hynes Athletic Center in New Rochelle, New York as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they finished the season 12–6, 6–3 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for ninth place. As the No. 9 seed in the MAAC tournament, they defeated Quinnipiac, Siena, and Niagara to advance to the tournament championship game. They defeated Fairfield to win the tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. They received a No. 15 seed in the East region, and lost in the first round to No. 2 seed Alabama 55–68.
