Cleopatra Koheirwe is a Ugandan actress, writer, singer, and media personality. She has garnered numerous roles on different film and television projects locally and internationally. [1] [2] [3]
Cleopatra plays Ebony in the new Nana Kagga directed and produced series Reflections [4] alongside other Uganda celebrities Malaika Nnyanzi, Housen Mushema, Andrew Kyamagero, Prynce Joel Okuyo and Gladys Oyenbot. [5]
Koheirwe joined StarTimes Uganda in June 2019 as the new Public Relations Manager. [6] [7] [8]
In 2001, she joined a popular music, dance and drama group known as Obsessions [9] (now Obsessions Africa) until March 2007 when she resigned from the group to pursue other interests. [10]
In 2010, she started working on her solo singing career. Her first single titled Ngamba (Luganda for "Tell me") was a pop song about deceptive relationships. The song was well received and given airplay on a few of radio stations in Uganda. [11]
In 2013, while still at Radiocity 97Fm, [12] she became a co-host of the U-Request show. She took a maternity break in December 2013 and went to Kenya. [13] In October 2016, she resumed working at Radiocity as a co-host of the Mid-Morning Magazine with Peace Menya until the end of May 2019 when she moved to StarTimes.
In September 2013, Cleopatra joined Flavia Tumusiime and Tusker Project Fame judge and singer Juliana Kanyomozi as audition judges for Tusker Project Fame 6 in Kampala. [14] [15] [16]
In 2006 Cleopatra auditioned for her first screen acting role for The Last King of Scotland in 2006 in which she played a character named Joy. She has since appeared in a number of film and television productions locally and internationally as well as winning nominations for some of the productions. She has worked on Changes, an M-Net TV series, in seasons 1 and 2 in a supporting role as Nanziri Mayanja from 2008 to 2010, Be the Judge, a Kenyan local TV series as Lucy Mango in 2010, Yogera (2011) playing a double lead role and State Research Bureau (S.R.B) (2011) in a supporting role as Faith Katushabe. [17]
She also worked in Kona , an M-Net TV series where she plays Jakki, a wannabe boxer trying to reconnect with her father, a boxing coach. She appeared in Sense8 , a Netflix Original Series as Mother. [18] Cleopatra is set to appear in the new Nana Kagga directed TV series Reflections as Ebony, one of the main four protagonists of the series.
Still in 2012, she was chosen by Reach a Hand Uganda (RAHU), an NGO that aims at empowering the youth, to speak to youths in various schools. After completing the school tours, RAHU commended her as 'Mentor of the Week'. [19] Cleopatra was one of the first cultural icons at Reach a Hand Uganda (RAHU) and was actively involved until 2014 [20] when she had to take a break from work to raise her baby.
In 2010 while in preparation to shoot CHANGES season 2, Cleopatra and the principal cast that included Nick Mutuma, Pierra Makena, Nini Wacera, Patricia Kihoro [21] were taken through acting training of The Meisner Technique by Rob Mello, a professional acting coach from Rob Mello Studios Atlanta, USA.
Cleopatra was the only child born to Jocelyn Twinesanyu "Sanyu" Rwekikiga and Anthony Abamwikirize Bateyo in 1982. Her father died prior to her birth. Her mother died when she was 15. Cleopatra has a daughter who was born in 2014 with boyfriend Lwanda Jawar, a Kenyan actor, model, and stunts director/coordinator. [22] She delivered a baby girl named Aviana Twine Jawar on 22 January 2014. [23] She named her daughter Twine after her mother Twinesanyu. [24]

Juliana Kanyomozi is a musician actress and entertainer. She is a multiple award-winning Ugandan pop musician, an R&B and Afro Beat Singer well known among Western Uganda's decent musicians. Juliana was born on November 27, 1980, at Toro Fort Portal in Western Uganda of the Mutooro tribe. She is one of Western Uganda's descent among other musicians including Angella Katatumba, Allan Toniks and Ray G.
Natasha Sinayobye is a Ugandan actress, model, singer and dancer. She debuted as a lead actress in the Ugandan film Bala Bala Sese alongside her boyfriend back then Michael Kasaija. She acted as Kaitesi Munyana in Nana Kagga's TV Series, Beneath The Lies - The Series.
Flavia Tumusiime is a Ugandan actress, radio and television host, voice-over artist, emcee and author of 30 Days of Flavia. She presents a mid-morning radio show on 91.3 Capital FM radio in Kampala, a former co-host of Morning @ NTV on NTV Uganda where she also doubles as a news anchor on NTV Tonight news and is a VJ for Channel O. She played the role of Kamali Tenywa in Nana Kagga's television series, Beneath The Lies - The Series from 2014 to 2016 and has co-hosted the Guinness Football Challenge.
Undercover Brothers Ug also simply known as Undercover Brothers are a Ugandan music duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Jay K Mulungi and vocalist Timothy Kirya, whose music career sparked off when they won the auditions and represented Uganda in the sixth season of East Africa's biggest singing competition Tusker Project Fame. The duo released their first album titled At Dawn in December 2014. In December 2016, their song Nsikatila was nominated in the Best R&B Song category at HiPipo Music Awards (#HMA) 2017.
Beneath The Lies is a Ugandan television drama-mystery series created by Nana Kagga Macpherson and starring Flavia Tumusiime, Natasha Sinayobye, Gaetano Kagwa, Hellen Lukoma, Rabadaba, Deedan Muyira, Cedric Babu Ndilima, Patrick Salvado Idringi and Susan Naava as regular cast members. The series was directed by Joseph Kitsha Kyasi and Tosh Gitonga. She has written Mukisa, My Sister's Keeper with Clive Nshiime,Pieces of Me] and many more. She is the co-owner of Savannah MOON, a leading and award winning production company in Uganda.
Diana Deedan Muyira, is a Ugandan actress and media personality, known for playing the role of Tracy Kintu in Nana Kagga’s Beneath The Lies. Deedan was born in Kenya and moved to Uganda to work.
Housen Mushema is a Ugandan runway, commercial and editorial model, actor and fashion producer known for playing the lead role of Balikoowa in Balikoowa in the City, Sokke on The Hostel, Andrew on Second Chance, Ben Ssali on Power of Legacy, Ian on Mistakes Girls Do, Michael on Veronica's Wish, Anthony on Bed of Thorns and also had roles on other shows and films like November Tear, False Dreams and The Lukkas.
Gladys Oyenbot is a Ugandan actress, singer and producer professionally known by her mononym Oyenbot. She is known for playing Dorotia on Mpeke Town (2018), and as Beatrice on the award winning drama series Yat Madit Yat Madit (2016). In 2020 she starred in numerous films including a thriller film The Girl in the Yellow Jumper, in a legal drama film Kafa Coh, Family Tree, and Down Hill. She also had starring roles in a romantic drama series Love Makanika (2015) by Dilman Dila, Reflections (2018) by Nana Kagga and 5 @Home(2017) which aired on Fox Life Africa. Her other notable screen work includes a Haunted Soul (2013), Day 256(2017), Communion(2018), King of Darkness (2015), and Kyenvu (2018) the multi award winning short film she co- produced alongside Hedwyn Kyambadde.

Kyaddala is a Ugandan drama television series by Reach a Hand Uganda. The first season was produced by Emmanuel Ikubese Films and Reach a Hand Uganda. Set in a present day high school life, Kyaddala a Luganda word for "It's Real", focuses on real life social issues that affect young people across Africa and their attempts to overcome those issues. The series features actors and actresses from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Nigeria. Kyaddala premiered on 27 September 2019 at Kingdom Kampala.
Mela is a Ugandan web television series created and directed by Nana Kagga. It stars Malaika in the lead and her debut acting role as Mela Katende while Daniel Omara, Cleopatra Koheirwe, Lesham Kenogo, Denis Kinani and Marie Corrazon joined in supporting and regular roles. The series was entirely produced at Savannah MOON by producers and sisters Meme and Nana Kagga, who also co-executive produced the series. Nana co-directed the series with Marie Corrazon.

Prestige is a Ugandan television drama series produced by Nathan Magooola and starring Nana Kagga, Cleopatra Koheirwe as Jazmine and Eunice respectively, two sisters and ad executives fighting to rise above each other. The series was commissioned by MultiChoice Uganda. It was produced under Ava Juliet productions and premiered on February 8, 2021, on Pearl Magic Prime channel at the launch of the channel.
