Collector's Series is a 1985 album by singer-songwriter Dolly Parton.
This album is a compilation, and included some of Parton's chart hits, along with lesser known album cuts originally released between 1969 and 1978. It was created for further promotion by her record label, which would soon drop her despite her success.
It did not do much for her career, as she had no promotion, being dropped from the label very soon after. However, Collectors Series was released during a time when none of Parton's classic early 1970s work had yet been issued on CD (given the fairly recent advent of the medium), and thus was the first instance signature Parton songs "Jolene", "I Will Always Love You", "Coat of Many Colors" and "The Bargain Store" appeared on CD.

Since the introduction of downloads to the Official Chart in 2005, it has amassed 255,300 downloads and 6.68 million streams. It has been covered by numerous performers.

Just Because I'm a Woman: Songs of Dolly Parton is a various-artists tribute album to Dolly Parton, released on October 14, 2003. The title song is a rerecording by Parton of a song she originally wrote during the 1960s and first included on her album Just Because I'm a Woman in 1968. The Emmylou Harris track "To Daddy" was recorded in 1978, and first appeared on Harris' album Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town ; the remainder of the tracks on the album were new recordings by each of the artists made specifically for this project.
The Bargain Store is the fifteenth solo studio album by American entertainer Dolly Parton. It was released on February 17, 1975, by RCA Victor. In the Parton-penned title track, one of her best-known compositions, she used worn, second-hand merchandise in a discount store as a metaphor for a woman damaged by an ill-fated relationship. The song was dropped from a number of country stations' playlists when programmers mistook the line "you can easily afford the price" as a thinly veiled reference to prostitution. Despite the decrease in airplay, the song nonetheless topped the U.S. country singles charts in April 1975.

The album was produced by Gary Klein and Parton with Charles Koppelman serving as executive producer, and was an even more direct aim at the pop charts, with several of its songs verging on disco. The album topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for nine consecutive weeks and peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200. The album produced two number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Heartbreaker" and "I Really Got the Feeling", while "Baby I'm Burnin'" peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album has been certified Gold in the United States and Canada.

The song was written by Parton and was first released as a duet with Chet Atkins on his 1976 album, The Best of Chet Atkins & Friends. Parton performed the song live throughout the 1970s, but did not release a solo version until 1982 on Heartbreak Express. Parton's solo version was released as the album's third single in July 1982, a double A-side release with "I Will Always Love You" from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas soundtrack. The song did not chart on its own, but did chart as the flip-side of "I Will Always Love You" throughout the single's chart run on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Parton would record the song for a third time in 1994, this time with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. Beginning in January 2014, the tour played forty-seven shows in North America, Oceania, and Europe. On Pollstar's Mid Year Top 100 Worldwide Tours list, released in July 2014 and ranking tours up until that date, the Blue Smoke World Tour ranked at number 23 with $23.3 million in grosses and 210,288 tickets sold for 38 shows.
