College of Agriculture, Iguoriakhi is a state-owned institution located at Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo State. The institution was established by the civilian administration of late Ambrose Alli in 1981, closed by the military governors and reopened by the Lucky Igbinedion administration in 2001. [1]

The school charged with the responsibility of offering Ordinary Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Technology, Animal Science, Crop Science, Agricultural Extension and Management. It was temporarily closed in August 2017 by the Godwin Obaseki led government with a promise to revamping the institution. [2] [3]

It was established in 1999 by Prince Abubakar Audu, the former governor of the state. At the time of its establishment, it was known as Kogi State University, It was later renamed Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in 2020, after the then sitting governor of Kogi State, who heralded its establishment, and later renamed Kogi State University (KSU) in 2003 by the former governor Ibrahim Idris and subsequently renamed as Prince Abubakar Audu University in 2020 by Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in respect of late Abubakar Audu.

There were three Polytechnics in Delta State, Nigeria, all established on 12 November 2002, located in Ogwashi-Uku, Ozoro, and Otefe-Oghara, Oghara. However, the Polytechnic that was in Ozoro has been transformed into a University by the state government. The Government of Delta State reached an understanding with the University of Westminster, London to assist in management and technical support for the institutions. The institutions are centres of excellence in Agriculture, Computing and Information Technology, Fashion Design and Arts and Sports. Besides their primary areas of specialization, all students are trained in Computing and Information Technology as well as business and entrepreneurship.

It was established in 1991 through a merger of the College of Preliminary Studies Yola and the Staff Development Institute, Numan. Graduates of the institution are awarded the National Certificates in Education (NCE).
