Colt Justin David (born November 26, 1985) is a former American football placekicker who played one season with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University and attended Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas. He was a member of the 2007 LSU Tigers national championship football team and the 98th Grey Cup winning Montreal Alouettes. [1]

Early years

David was a three-year letterman for the Grapevine High School, playing football and soccer. He converted 27 of 36 field goal attempts during his prep career, with a long of 50 yards. He also played punter, averaging 43.7 yards per punt as a senior and setting a school record with an 81-yard punt. [2]

College career

David played for the LSU Tigers from 2005 to 2008. He was named First-Team All-SEC in 2007 and Second-Team All-SEC in 2008. [2]

Professional career

David was signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL on June 11, 2010. [3] He was named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for week fifteen of the 2010 CFL season after going six for six on field goal attempts in his CFL debut in relief of an injured Damon Duval. [4] The Alouettes won the 98th Grey Cup on November 28, 2010, defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders by a score of 21 to 18.

Damon Duval is an American former professional placekicker and punter. Duval played college football for Auburn University, and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He played professionally for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL), and the Montreal Alouettes and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Sandro DeAngelis is a former professional gridiron football placekicker. He last played during the 2013 season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He had also played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Montreal Alouettes, Calgary Stampeders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. DeAngelis is among the most accurate kickers in CFL history and he won his first Grey Cup championship with the Calgary Stampeders in 2008.

Nikolas "Nik" Lewis is a former professional Canadian football slotback who played for 15 years in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a two-time Grey Cup champion, winning in 2008 and 2014 with the Calgary Stampeders. In his first season, he won the CFL Rookie of the Year award, followed by five West Division All-Star and three CFL All-Star awards. 98th Grey Cup

The 98th Grey Cup was a Canadian football game played between the Eastern Division champion Montreal Alouettes and Western Division champion Saskatchewan Roughriders to decide the champion of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the 2010 season. In a rematch of the 97th Grey Cup, the Alouettes defeated the Roughriders for the second year in a row, 21–18, becoming the first team in 13 years to win back-to-back Grey Cups.

Samuel Giguère is a Canadian football wide receiver and bobsledder. He was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats eighth overall in the 2008 CFL Draft and signed by the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2008.
