Cometas Por El Cielo is the sixth studio album by La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released on 13 September 2011 under Sony Music. It is the second album by the band not produced by Nigel Walker. Simon Nordberg handled the production. The album departs from previous efforts as an electropop and power pop record.
It was released in two physical editions, standard and special, and two online editions, on iTunes and Spotify. All the editions differ on the bonus track. The standard edition does not contain a bonus track (unlike almost every album by the band, which include a hidden track), the rest of them has each one a different song as a bonus track.
The album art was drawn by Serge Birault aka PapaNinja.

La Oreja de Van Gogh is a Spanish pop band from Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. The band's lyrics and compositions are written primarily by Xabi San Martín, and additionally by Pablo Benegas and Amaia Montero. The lyrical themes of their songs typically include love, friendship and relationships. Since their debut, they have sold more than 8 million albums worldwide.
Lo que te conté mientras te hacías la dormida is the third studio album of Spanish band La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released on April 28, 2003 through Sony Music Entertainment label. It is the best selling work internationally from the band and it is certified as one of the best selling albums of all time in Spain. In France the album was released under the name of "París".

"Puedes Contar Conmigo" is a song written by Amaia Montero and performed by La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released in April, 2003, as the first single from their third studio album Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida. While the singer remembers las tardes de invierno por Madrid, the lyrics tells the story of a person who ends a relationship and does not want her ex-partner to think that he can no longer count on her. She wants him to know for all the good times during the relationship that "he can always count on her", although she also hints that she still hopes for him to return.

Nuestra Casa A La Izquierda Del Tiempo is a compilation album by La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released on 220 October 2009, only one year after the release of the band's previous recording, A las cinco en el Astoria. It contains new versions of some of the band's biggest hits from its previous five albums, including tracks originally sung by former band-member Amaia Montero. All songs were re-recorded by the group to include Leire Martínez, who had recently been introduced as the band's new singer. The Bratislava Symphony Orchestra provided further musical accompaniment, giving a more acoustic and orchestral feel to the original songs.

Un Susurro en la Tormenta is the eighth studio album by La Oreja de Van Gogh which was released on 18 September 2020 under Sony Music. The album, a follow-up to El Planeta Imaginario released four years prior, was produced by Paco Salazar, marking his first collaboration with the band. "Abrázame" served as the lead single in April 2020, followed by "Durante una Mirada" in September later that year. The band has also released a promotional single, "Te Pareces Tanto a Mí", in early July.
