Common Sky, formerly named MAPJet, [1] is an Austrian aviation company headquartered in Linz [2] that offers aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) services as well as business jet charters. [3]
In January 2010 MAPJet founded Austriair, a new scheduled airline based at Vienna International Airport which planned to operate with Bombardier Q400 and Embraer 195 aircraft leased from Augsburg Airways. [4] The first planned routes would have led from Vienna to Munich and Frankfurt. [4] [5] In April 2010 however, they cancelled their scheduled operations project. [6] One reason given was a lawsuit claim from Austrian Airlines due to possible trademark violations. [4]
In 2012, MAPJet was rebranded and received its current name Common Sky. [7] [1]

The company's head office was at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport in Zgornji Brnik, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, near Ljubljana. On 30 September 2019, the airline declared bankruptcy and ceased all operations.
Lauda Air Luftfahrt GmbH, branded as Lauda Air, was an Austrian airline headquartered at Vienna International Airport in Schwechat. It was owned by Niki Lauda (1949–2019) during much of its existence, later becoming a charter airline subsidiary for leisure operations of Austrian Airlines. On 6 April 2013, Lauda Air ceased to exist and was replaced by Austrian myHoliday, a new brand name that is used for flights and leisure offers provided by Austrian Airlines.

CityJet is an Irish regional airline with headquarters in Swords, Dublin. It was founded in 1992 and has gone through a series of corporate structures. Air France sold CityJet to Intro Aviation in May 2014; in March 2016 the airline was bought by founder Pat Byrne and other investors. Since 2017, CityJet had moved away from scheduled flights and has instead focused on wet leasing and charter flights. As of August 2020, the airline operates wet-lease services on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines.

Niki had a variety of owners, including two stints of ownership under Niki Lauda (1949–2019). In January 2018, the airline was acquired by Lauda, an airline that also had ties to Niki Lauda.

The Bombardier CRJ700, CRJ900, and CRJ1000 are a family of regional jet airliners that were designed and manufactured by Canadian transportation conglomerate Bombardier between 1999 and 2020. Their design was derived from the smaller CRJ100 and 200 airliners, the other members of the Bombardier CRJ aircraft family. Maluti Sky was an airline based at Moshoeshoe I International Airport in Maseru, the capital of Lesotho. It offered scheduled and charter flights. The airline was founded in 2009 as MGC Airlines, becoming the first privately owned airline in Lesotho. Maluti Sky began passenger flights to Johannesburg in March 2016; it was at that time the only airline based in the country since Lesotho Airways ceased operations in 1996. However, the airline terminated all flights in 2017 as a result of financial issues.
