Connie the Cow is a children's television series created by Josep Viciana[1] and designed by Roman Rybakiewicz,[2] and produced by Spain-based studio Neptuno Films for TV3.[3] The show combined 2D cel animation for the backgrounds with 3D computer animation for the characters.[4]
The series ran for three seasons and 44 episodes. It was broadcast in Spain from September 8, 2001 to 2005.
Plot
A curious young cow named Connie explores her colorful world.

Connie (voiced by Andrea Vega Guzman in season 1 and Ayseha Mendham in seasons 2–3) is a young female cow. She's blue with a few big white spots around her fur, her small horns and muzzle are yellow, she has a big black nose and she has a red collar with a small yellow bell attached to it. She is very curious, and always tries new things.[5]
Patch (voiced by Alex Warner) is a playful dog who lives near Connie's farmhouse and lives with the pig family. His fur is brown with a few dark blue spots around it and all of his four paws have dark blue spots as well. He also has a big black nose just like Connie. He can also be considered Connie's best friend since he appears with her almost every episode. He is introduced in the episode "Patch the Stray Dog".[5]
Wally is a plump multicolored bird who lives in a tree near the farm. He is introduced in th episode "Wally Bird"
Grouch is an aptly-named irritable fox. His fur is orange and he has white spots around his paws and tail. He is introduced in the episode "The Grouchy Fox".
Mollie and Bill are Connie's mother and father. They give Connie advice and help out with problems. Molly is a typical dairy cow with white fur and black spots around her fur. Her horns and muzzle are yellow, she has a black nose and she has a red collar with a small yellow bell attached to it just like Connie, although she only sometimes wears it. Bill is a strong bull with black fur. His horns and muzzle are blue and he has a black nose.
Clara is Connie's grandmother who wears a hat with flowers on it. She has white fur with light blue spots. Her horns and muzzle are yellow and she has a black nose. She can also be considered Mollie's mother since both of them have the same shape of nose. Connie often visits her grandmother and learns a lot about the forest thanks to her. She is introduced in the episode "Connie and Her Grandmother".
Hedgy is a hedgehog who wears a sock over his nose. He is introduced in the episode "The Curious Butterfly".
Paddy and Pearl are pigs and Connie's neighbors. Paddy is a purple big while Pearl is pink. They are introduced in the episode "Patch The Stray Dog".
Dodger is a naughty and crafty cat who likes to steal cakes and tease other animals. He has cat sharp teeth, an orange snout and legs and an orange and black striped tail. He is the secondary antagonist. He is introduced in the episode "The Crafty Cat".
Snooze is a lazy and tired turtle who likes to sleep inside his shell.
Sergeant is a sheep dog with a blunt attitude. He has blue fur and a black nose. He is introduced in the episode "The Crafty Cat"
Spike is a spider who likes to play the harp that he made with twigs, leaves, and silk.
Tom is an ant with six purple legs and antennas. He is part of the ant colony that work together carrying the food and plants.
Nibble is a squirrel that is often very busy carrying every acorn to her tree. She even has two children.
Donna is a duck and has her ducklings floating across the river.
Fast Feather is an eagle who lives on top of the mountain and usually puffs the clouds across the sky with his wings.
Sandy is a sea turtle who lives at the beach. She has a flower-patterned shell.
Norbert is a beaver who spends his time gnawing wood to build dams.
Ronny is a mouse who rolls his cheese through the grass.
Sam is a rabbit who lives in the forest.
Henry is an owl who helps Connie with her adventures.
Cyril is a friendly wolf and one of Patch's friends.
Burt is a bat that lives in the cave.
Finny is a fish that lives in the water.
John is a frog who lives in the pond.
Scoot is a snake who likes to sleep.

Season 1
"A Curious Butterfly": While Connie was having breakfast with her parents, she suddenly saw a butterfly. She then began to chase it, until she realised she was far away from home. The butterfly then helped her come back to her parents.
"Present for Mummy": Connie's dad told her that it's her mother's birthday. Connie then began to search a present for her mother
"The Christmas Tree": Connie needs help finding the special Christmas tree her mom told her about.
"The Crafty Cat": A very sly and crafty cat named Dodger manipulated Connie for them to steal the three cakes Sergeant the sheep dog was guarding. After Connie realised she was being manipulated, she told everyone the truth and then they saved the last cake from Dodger.
"The Lazy Clouds": Connie saw that the sheep had no water to drink, she then climbed the mountain and asked the clouds to rain. She then tickled them and they then began to pour some rain and even began riding them.
"Patch the Stray Dog": When Paddy and Pearl left Connie to play alone, a stray dog named Patch suddenly appeared from a nearby bush. Connie then helped him find a family.
"The Ugly Caterpillar": Connie visited Henry The Owl until she saw a few caterpillars. She then realised that one of them has a crush on a beautiful female one. Henry also explained to her how caterpillars turn into butterflies.
"Connie and Her Grandmother": Connie's grandma takes Connie on a nature walk to show how to love and respect nature.
"The Grumpy Fox": When Grouch ate a poisonous flower, his stomach then began to hurt. Connie and Patch then helped him to relieve the pain.
"Wally Bird": Connie, Patch and Grouch organised a picnic for themselves. While they went to play for a while, Wally then ate their food. They then began to search for some food until they realised they got lost. But then Wally helped them find their way back to the picnic.
"Hide and Seek": Connie was playing hide and seek with Wally and Grouch. While they were hiding, Connie then realised she couldn't count. She then began to ask the animals and insects around the forest to help her count to ten. When she found Wally and Patch, she realised they fell asleep of all the waiting.
"The Little Bear": An orange bare named Timmy got lost in the snow and doesn't know his way back home to his mom and dad. But thanks to Connie, he found his way back to his parents.
"A Cold Weather Adventure": Connie felt very cold because of the snow and Maddie the lamb decided to help her. After so much work, Maddie got tired and Connie decided to carry her. That's when Connie realised she felt warm thanks to Maddie's wool. Later that day, Maddie stayed with Connie and her parents for the night.
"The Snow Ghost": Connie, Grouch and Patch mistake a mole for a snow ghost because of his hard digging.
"The Snowman": While Connie was walking around the forest, she suddenly saw a very sad snowman. He then explained to her that he doesn't have a cold environment for him not to melt. Connie then helped him find a cold place until she found some penguins who were soon leaving for a colder place as well. The snowman then joined them and said goodbye to Connie.
"The Wolf": When Connie visited Sergeant, Maddie and her parents, she then met a very friendly wolf named Cyril. While everyone thought he was dangerous, Connie was the only one to become friends with him. When it began raining, he then saw that Maddie was lost. He then brought her back to her parents and since then, everyone realised that Cyril isn't as dangerous as he seemed and began to respect him.
"The Busy Squirrel": When winter arrived, Connie was wondering around the forest to search for some clean grass to eat. She then saw the same three squirrels from before who were inside a tree. She then realised that one of them doesn't know how to have fun. Connie then began to play with the squirrel.
"The Magic Spring": Connie was walking around the forest to look for some water since she was very thirsty. She then found a waterfall until a bee tried to warn her but Connie didn't listen and began to drink from it. Shen then suddenly became very small, just like an insect. The bee then helped Connie to become to her normal size again. By the end of it all, Connie then woke up and realised that all of it was just a dream.
"The Lonely Flower": Connie and Patch saw a female flower who was very lonely. They then searched around to find the flower someone so she couldn't be lonely. They then saw a male flower who was lonely as well. They then brought him back to the female flower. The next day, Connie and Patch visited the flowers. They then saw that hey had a lot of baby flowers around them.
"The Bird Who Didn't Know How To Fly"
"A Visit to Grandmother's": Connie gets an invitation to visit her grandma's shed in the woods.
"A Sock for Hedgy": Hedgy loses the sock that goes on his nose and is upset and shivering in the cold weather, so Connie and Patch must help him find his sock.
"The Surprise Party": Connie, Grouch and Patch prepare a surprise birthday party for Wally.
"Wally's Nest": Wally loses his nest and Connie and Patch help him find it.
"A Toy for Patch": When the ball that Connie and Patch play with got squashed, Connie began to creat a new toy for Patch.
"The Search for Patch's Color": Connie helps Patch reunite with his original color. They then realised that Patch had dirt in him the entire time.
"Connie Wants to Be Different" When Connie was with her grandma, she saw how the other animals were all very different from her. She then began to try and act like different animals until she realised that she's actually very proud of being a cow.
"Patch's Wonderful Nose": Patch couldn't smell anything. Connie, Wally and Grouch then began to try and help him. That's until Henry told Patch that he might have had a cold and that's why he couldn't smell. That then came out to be true all along and Patch began to smell again.
"Connie and the Colors": Grandma Clara teaches the friends a game about colors.
"Connie and the Little Lamb" Connie agreed to babysit Maddie. Maddie then began to run away from Connie until both of them realised they were both lost in the forest. Connie then saw that Maddie's orange wool was in the same path that was back to Maddie's home. Thanks to it, they soon got back home.
"Connie and the Turtle": Connie and Patch help a lost turtle return to her family.
"A Hot Day": With the help of her friend the beaver, Connie creates a new swimming pool just for her insect friends.

"The Race": Snooze and Dodger have a race and Dodger is determined to win.
"Connie and the Butterflies": Connie saw two butterflies who were trying to find a good tree that had blossoms since they didn't wanna leave the forest. She then began to try and help them until she realised all the good trees were taken. That's until she saw a very old tree who felt very insecure about himself. That's when Connie told him that looks aren't everything and the tree suddenly brightened up and blossoms appeared on him. The two butterflies then began to live on the tree.
"Mummy's Hat": Connie's mom gave Connie a hat so she could deliver to Grandma Clara. While Connie was on her way towards her grandma's shack, she saw her friends Patch, Wally and Grouch. She then began to splash around with them on the lake until the hat got destroyed. They then made a new one and even for Connie's mom. Connie then told her grandma what happen. Her grandmother told her to say the truth to her mother. After Connie said the truth, her mother explained that her saying the truth was all that mattered.
"Adventures on the River"
"What a Lot of Babies": Connie and Patch have fun with birds.
"Connie and the Cricket": Connie tries to imitate an amazing cricket.
"Detective Connie": Connie and Patch's basket suddenly disappeared. They then looked around the forest until they saw footprints that lead towards Connie's shack. It was then revealed that Connie's dad took it because he thought that someone had lost it. He then also showed them that he made a cake.
"A Trip with Mum and Dad": Connie and her parents go out on a trip around the forest.
"Connie and Her Friends": Connie was gonna visit Patch so she could play with him until she saw that he was with Cyril. She then thought that he doesn't want to be friends with her anymore until Patch explained to her that he and Cyril were trying to look for her the entire time.
"The Trial of Strength" While Connie was making a new home for Sam the rabbit, Dodger then suddenly appeared and exclaimed that Connie wasn't strong to lift all those rocks. He then challenged her to see who is the strongest. It was then revealed that Dodger was cheating the entire time.
"Connie Learns About Shapes": Connie, Patch, Grouch, and Wally play a game about shapes with the lead by Mole.
"The Vain Bird": Connie meets a vain musical bird and a spider named Spike that have something in common, they both have the same beautiful singing voices, so the friends put on a singing competition during the night.
"Follow the Clues": Grandma Clara teaches Connie and Patch a follow the clues game that would lead to some animals very special.
"Connie and Patch in Disguise": When Connie's parents told Connie and Patch that their desigues couldn't fool anyone, Connie and Patch got determined and began to try all different kinds of disguises like dressing up like sheep and even a ghost. When they disguised as bushes, they saw that Dodger stole a cake from Donna the duck. They then told Sergeant.
"The Lucky Stone" Connie thought that she wasn't strong enough to lift all that milk and eggs that Sergeant wanted her. Belinda the goat then gave Connie a lucky stone. After she was done delivering, Belinda told her that it wasn't a lucky stone the entire time and just wanted to give it to her just so she could make her feel confident.
"The Bridge": Connie and her friends create a bridge across the river with the help of Connie's father.

"The Beaver's Dam": Connie and Patch cannot get water from the beaver's dam.
"The Ant and the Grasshopper": Connie's friend Sergeant tells all of her friends the story of the ant and the grasshopper.
"Connie and the Tin Can": After Belinda told Connie and Patch that the can can be dangerous, they tried to throw it away. That's until Connie's father appeared and told them that the can could be used for recycling. Connie and Patch then made a vase with the can for Connie's parents.

Broadcast
In February 2001, AAC Kids and TV-Loonland AG jointly acquired distribution, merchandising and licensing rights to the series, with Loonland holding the rights for Europe including the UK, and AAC Kids for all other territories. Neptuno Films retained all rights to the series in Spain.[6]
In April 2001, TV-Loonland announced they had pre-sold the United Kingdom broadcast rights to Disney, with it later airing on the Playhouse Disney channel.[7] In November 2004, the company extended the Disney deal to Germany .[8] In Germany, the series was also aired as the final segment in certain mid-2000s episodes of Sesame Street's German co-production Sesamstraße.
In the US, the show was broadcast on Noggin from September 8, 2003[1] to 2007. It was repeated from 2017 to 2018 on Starz Kids & Family.[9]
