The Cook Islands national football team is the men's football team that represents the Cook Islands in international competition since 1971. It is governed by the Cook Islands Football Association which is part of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and FIFA.
The Cook Islands national rugby league team has been participating in international rugby league football competition since 1986. The team is controlled by the governing body for rugby league in Cook Islands, Cook Islands Rugby League Association (CIRLA), which is currently a member of the Asia-Pacific Rugby League Confederation (APRLC). They are currently ranked 23rd in the RLIF World Rankings.
The Oceania Continent Handball Federation (OCHF) is the governing body for the Olympic sport of Handball in Oceania. It is affiliated to the International Handball Federation (IHF).
The Oceania Handball Nations Championship was the official competition for senior national handball teams of Oceania, and took place every two years. In addition to crowning the Oceania champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the World Handball Championship. Also played is the Pacific Handball Cup where states of other countries such as New Caledonia, Tahiti and Wallis and Futuna (France) and Marshall Islands, Guam and America Samoa (USA) who are ineligible for International Handball Federation world championship events, compete against member nations.
The Danish Handball Federation is the national governing body for handball in Denmark. It is based in Brøndby.
The Iceland women's national handball team is the national handball team of Iceland and takes part in international team handball competitions. They qualified to the 2010 European Women's Handball Championship. This was the first time they qualified to any international championship. They finished with the 15th place. Two years later, at the 2012 European Women's Handball Championship, they managed the same results.
The 2010 Oceania Handball Championship took place in Porirua, New Zealand from 8–10 May. By winning, Australia secured the Oceania bid for the 2011 World Men's Handball Championship in Sweden. The tournament was held as a double round robin. Participating nations were Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands.
Cook Islands participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore.
The Oceania Youth Handball Championship is an Under 19 for Boys and Under 18 for Girls handball tournament organised by the Oceania Continent Handball Federation. The winners of these competition qualify for the IHF Men's Youth World Championship and IHF Women's Youth World Championship respectively.

The 2004 Oceania Handball Championship took place in Sydney, Australia from 7-9 June. Entered nations were Australia, Cook Islands and the New Zealand. Australia won the right to play in the 2005 World Men's Handball Championship in Tunisia.
The 2006 Oceania Handball Championship took place in Sydney, Australia from 22–24 May. Entered nations were Australia, Cook Islands and the New Zealand. Australia won the right to play in the 2007 World Men's Handball Championship in Germany.
The 2008 Oceania Handball Championship took place in Wellington, New Zealand from 7–10 April. Entered nations were Australia, Cook Islands, New Caledonia and the New Zealand. Although New Caledonia won the tournament, they are ineligible to go to the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship as they are a French colony. Australia won the right to represent Oceania by coming second.
The Cook Islands youth national handball team is the national Under 19's male handball team of Cook Islands.
The Coke Islands national junior handball team is the national junior men's handball team of Cook Islands.
The Cook Islands Handball Association (CIHA) is the governing body for the sport of handball and beach handball in the Cook Islands. CIHA is member of the Oceania Continent Handball Federation (OCHF), International Handball Federation (IHF) and the Commonwealth Handball Association (CHA).
The Oceania Beach Handball Championship is the official competition for Under 17 years national beach handball teams of Oceania region. It was first organized by the Oceania Continent Handball Federation in 2017. The first champions for boys were Australia and for girls America Samoa. In addition to crowning the Oceania champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the World Championships and also the Youth Olympic Games. The first competition was held in Raratonga in the Cook Islands from 3 May 2017 until 5 May 2017.
The 2017 Men's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy was held at the Bluesky Sports Arena, Rarotonga, Cook Islands in between 31 July and 6 August 2017.
The 2018 Men's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy is to be held at the L'Arene du Sud, New Caledonia between 10 - 15 June 2018.
