The Australia national handball team is the national handball team of Australia, representing the country in international matches. Handball Australia is the national governing body for the Olympic Sport of Handball and for the sport of Beach Handball. [1] Australia has consistently won the Oceania championships in both men's and women's division. In 2014 the International Handball Federation (IHF) decided to exclude Australia from the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship. [2]

Pan-American Team Handball Federation

The Pan-American Team Handball Federation (PATHF) is the continental governing body for handball, beach handball, wheelchair handball and snow handball in Americas since 23 May 1977. The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. The British Handball Association is the governing body of Team Handball in Britain. It has been a member of the International Handball Federation They have 864.683 members (2014). (IHF) since 1970 and of the European Handball Federation (EHF) for IHF matters. Other representation at European level is under different national associations: the England Handball Association and the Scottish Handball Association. This dual structure, which is shared by several others sports, reflects the conflict between the desire of the home nations to organise the sport separately, and the need to have an overall body for international purposes, such as the Olympics.

2015 World Mens Handball Championship

The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. This is the third time that the World Championship was hosted in the Middle East And North Africa, after Egypt in 1999 and Tunisia in 2005.

Alice Keighley is an Australian team handball and beach handball player. As a member of the Australian national team, Alice played in the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil and in the 2015 IHF Four Nations Tournament in Kazakhstan. As a member of the Australian Women's Junior Handball Team, she competed in the 2013 IHF Intercontinental World Cup Challenge Trophy in Mexico and the 2012 IHF Oceania Continental Challenge Trophy. In 2010, she was selected in the Australian Youth Olympic handball team to attend the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, where the team came 6th. As a member of the Australia women's national beach handball team, she competed in the 2012 Beach Handball World Championships in Oman, the World Games 2013 in Colombia and the 2014 Beach Handball World Championships in Brazil.

Daniela Borelli dos Santos, also known as Daniela Cook, is an Australian team handball player. She part of the Australian national team, and participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Hungary and Brazil.

The Sydney University Handball Club is a handball team from the University of Sydney from Sydney, Australia. The Chinese Handball Association (CHA) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in the People's Republic of China. CHA is affiliated to the International Handball Federation and Asian Handball Federation. Founded in 1979, CHA is also affiliated to the Chinese Olympic Committee, East Asian Handball Federation. It is based in Beijing.

Australia national youth beach handball team

The Australia national youth beach handball team is the national Under 17 team of Australia. It is governed by the Australian Handball Federation and takes part in international beach handball competitions.

The Handball Association of Thailand (HAT) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Thailand. HAT is a member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and member of the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1998.
