The Oceania Continent Handball Federation (OCHF) is the governing body for the Olympic sport of Handball in Oceania. It is affiliated to the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Oceania Handball Nations Championship was the official competition for senior national handball teams of Oceania, and took place every two years. In addition to crowning the Oceania champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the World Handball Championship. 2009 World Womens Handball Championship 2009 edition of the World Womens Handball Championship

The 2009 World Women's Handball Championship took place from 5 to 20 December 2009 in China. It was the 19th edition of the World Women's Handball Championship and the second that took place outside of Europe.

The 2010 Oceania Handball Championship was the seventh edition of the Oceania Handball Nations Cup, which took place in Porirua, New Zealand from 8 to 10 May 2010. By winning, Australia secured the Oceania bid for the 2011 World Men's Handball Championship in Sweden. The tournament was held as a double round robin. Participating nations were Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands.

The first competition was held in Raratonga in the Cook Islands from 3 May 2017 until 5 May 2017.

The 2018 Men's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy is to be held at the L'Arene du Sud, New Caledonia between 10–15 June 2018.
