Cory D. Mason IV (born January 25,1973) is a Democratic Party politician and the mayor of Racine,Wisconsin. From 2007 to 2018,Mason served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the city of Racine and eastern Racine County. [2]
Mason was born in Racine and graduated from Case High School. He then received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. [3]
While in the assembly,Mason served as the ranking Assembly Democratic member of the Assembly Committee on Environment and Forestry,the Joint Legislative Council,and Joint Survey Committee on Retirement Systems. He also served on the Assembly Committee on Tourism. [1]
Mason was named the 2009-2010 Legislator of the Year by the Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association for his support of Wisconsin's technical colleges. Other awards include the 2014 Children's Champion Policy Award from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin,the 2013 Friend of the UW Award by the United Council of UW Students,and the River Champion Award by the River Alliance of Wisconsin. Mason was named 2012 Legislator of the Year by the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin and was named to the Conservation Honor Roll for 2011-2012 by the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. He was also given an Award of Merit by the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education. [1]
Mason ran for mayor of Racine in 2017 for a special election to complete the term of the previous mayor,John Dickert. Mason won with the largest share of votes in both the primary and general elections. [4] [5]
Mason's mayoral administration has thus far resulted in increased residential and commercial development such as the Gold Medal Loft project in Uptown Racine [6] and the construction of apartments at the former Walker Manufacturing site along the shores of Lake Michigan in Downtown Racine. [7] Mason has also overseen downtown investment from global technology company Foxconn. [8]

Robert W. Wirch is an American Democratic politician from Kenosha County,Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate,representing Wisconsin's 22nd Senate district since 1997. He previously served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly,from 1993 to 1997,and served on the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors before that.
Gwendolynne Sophia Moore is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 4th congressional district since 2005. In 2016,Moore was elected to serve as caucus whip of the Congressional Black Caucus for the 115th United States Congress. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Her district is based in Milwaukee and as a result of the 2011 redistricting also includes some Milwaukee County suburbs:Bayside,Brown Deer,Cudahy,Fox Point,Glendale,St. Francis,South Milwaukee,West Milwaukee,Shorewood,and Whitefish Bay. Moore is the first woman to represent the district and the second woman after Tammy Baldwin and the first African American elected to Congress from Wisconsin.
Lena C. Taylor is an American lawyer,judge,and former politician serving as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Milwaukee County,since January 2024. She previously served 19 years as a Democratic member of the Wisconsin Senate,representing the 4th State Senate district from 2005 to 2024,and was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for one term before that.

The 64th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeast Wisconsin,the district comprises the northeast corner of Kenosha County,including all of the village of Somers and the northern half of the city of Kenosha. The district also contains the University of Wisconsin–Parkside campus,Carthage College,the Kenosha campus of Gateway Technical College,and Kenosha Regional Airport. The district is represented by Democrat Tip McGuire,since May 2019.

The 2015 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 7,2015. There was a contested election for justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court,as well as several other nonpartisan local and judicial elections and an amendment to the Constitution of Wisconsin to change the process for selection of the chief justice of the State Supreme Court. In addition,the ballot contained a special election to fill a vacancy in the 20th State Senate district. The 2015 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 17,2015.
The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 4,2023. The featured race at the top of the ticket was for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court,which became the most expensive judicial election in history. Several other nonpartisan local and judicial offices were also decided on the April 4 ballot,including mayoral elections in some of Wisconsin's larger cities—Green Bay,Madison,and Racine. In addition,a special election was held in the 8th State Senate district,concurrent with the Spring elections. The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 21,2023.
