Robert W. Wirch is an American Democratic politician from Kenosha County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing Wisconsin's 22nd Senate district since 1997. He previously served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, from 1993 to 1997, and served on the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors before that.
Douglas J. La Follette is an American academic, environmental scientist, and politician who served as the 30th secretary of state of Wisconsin from 1983 to 2023. He is a member of the Democratic Party. At the time of his retirement, La Follette was the longest-serving statewide elected official in the United States; he was narrowly re-elected in 2022 to an unprecedented 12th term in office, but retired shortly after the start of the new term. He previously served as the 28th secretary of state from 1975 to 1979, and in the Wisconsin Senate from 1973 to 1975.

He is the longest currently-serving member of the Wisconsin Senate, having served for 36 years. He previously served four years in the Wisconsin State Assembly (1983–1987).

John W. Lehman is an American educator and politician from Racine, Wisconsin. Lehman represented the 21st District in the Wisconsin Senate from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2012 to 2015, and was the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin in 2014. Previously, Lehman was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1997 through 2007. Elected as a state senator in 2006 but unseated in 2010, Lehman retook his old seat in the 2012 Wisconsin recall elections, defeating the incumbent, Van Wanggaard, who won the seat back in the 2014 general election.

Recall elections for four Wisconsin state senators were held during the spring of 2012. Voters put four state senators up for recall, all Republicans, because of the budget repair bill proposed by Governor Scott Walker and circumstances surrounding it. Democrats targeted Republicans for voting to significantly limit public employee collective bargaining. Scholars could cite only four times in American history when more than one state legislator has been recalled at roughly the same time over the same issue. The recall elections occurred on June 5, with May 8 being the date of the primary election.
The 2014 Wisconsin Fall General Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on November 4, 2014. Wisconsin's Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Treasurer were all up for election, as well as Wisconsin's eight seats in the United States House of Representatives. The November general election in 2014 also featured a statewide referendum on an amendment to the Constitution of Wisconsin. The 2014 Wisconsin Fall Primary Election was held on August 12, 2014.
Patrick Testin is an American Republican politician. He is the current President pro tempore of the Wisconsin State Senate and has served in the Senate since 2017. He represents the 24th Senate district, which includes the cities of Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids in central Wisconsin.
Marc Julian Bradley is an American businessman and Republican politician from Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing the 28th Senate district since 2021. He is the first black Republican to serve in the Wisconsin Senate and only the second black Republican to serve in the Wisconsin Legislature.
The 63rd Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district covers most of the south half of Racine County west of Wisconsin Highway 31, including the city of Burlington and the villages of Rochester, Union Grove, and Sturtevant, as well as most of the village of Mount Pleasant and part of the city of Racine. The district is represented by Republican Robin Vos, the Speaker of the Assembly, since 2005.
The 64th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises the northeast corner of Kenosha County and the southeast corner of Racine County, including part of the cities of Racine and Kenosha, as well as the village of Elmwood Park and parts of the villages of Somers and Mount Pleasant east of Wisconsin Highway 31. The district also contains the University of Wisconsin–Parkside campus, Carthage College, and the Kenosha campus of Gateway Technical College. The district is represented by Democrat Tip McGuire, since May 2019.
The One Hundred Third Wisconsin Legislature convened from January 3, 2017, to January 7, 2019, in regular session, though it adjourned for legislative activity on May 9, 2018. The Legislature also held four extraordinary sessions and four special sessions during the legislative term.
The 2015 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 7, 2015. There was a contested election for justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as well as several other nonpartisan local and judicial elections and an amendment to the Constitution of Wisconsin to change the process for selection of the chief justice of the State Supreme Court. In addition, the ballot contained a special election to fill a vacancy in the 20th State Senate district. The 2015 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 17, 2015.
The One Hundred Sixth Wisconsin Legislature is the current ongoing legislative term in Wisconsin. It was convened on January 3, 2023, in regular session, and is scheduled to conclude on January 6, 2025, with a scheduled adjournment for legislative activity on May 15, 2024. There has been one special session during this term.
