Croats in Sweden (Swedish : Sverigekroater) are citizens and residents of Sweden of Croatian descent. As of 2017, they number approximately 28,000 individuals. [1] Croats mostly follow Catholicism, but a small minority that have been living in Sweden for generations have converted to Evangelicalism. They mostly live in Stockholm, the capital city, and in Malmö, in Rosengård district. The most successful football club of Croats of Sweden is NK Croatia Malmö, that played in 1988 the Swedish 2nd League, declared in 1989 with title "Best Immigrant Club of Europe", [2] winner of Malmö Mästerskap four times (1988, 1989, 1991 and 2016). [3]
Raimo Ilmari Helminen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. He is often called "Raipe" or "Maestro" by his fans. He is the world record holder for most international games played by a hockey player, as well as for tied for being the hockey player in the most Olympic Games, and his 26 seasons as a professional is one of the longest careers in professional hockey history. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2012.
Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF, Malmö, or MFF, is a professional football club and the most successful football club in Sweden in terms of domestic trophies won. Formed in 1910 and affiliated with the Scania Football Association, Malmö FF is based at Eleda Stadion in Malmö, Scania. The club has won a record 23 Swedish championship titles and the most national cup titles with 15.

Mats Torsten Näslund, nicknamed "Le Petit Viking", is a Swedish former ice hockey player. He played as a left winger. Despite his small size at only five feet and seven inches, Näslund is best known for being one of the top forwards with the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens from 1982 to 1990. In addition to the Canadiens, Näslund played for Timrå IK, Brynäs IF, and Malmö IF of the Swedish Elite League, and HC Lugano of the National League A between 1975 and 1994. He made a short NHL comeback attempt in 1995 with the Boston Bruins following the 1994–95 NHL lockout, and retired after the season's conclusion.
Nogometni klub Osijek, commonly referred to as NK Osijek or simply Osijek, is a Croatian professional football club from Osijek. Founded in 1947, it was the club from Slavonia with the most seasons in the Yugoslav First League and, after the independence of Croatia in 1992, it is one of the four clubs that have never been relegated from the Croatian First League, the others being Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split and Rijeka.

Serbs began migrating to Sweden in large numbers in the 1960s, as part of the migrant work-agreement signed with the Yugoslav government to help Sweden overcome its severe labour shortage. The Yugoslav Wars saw another influx of Serbs.
Turks in Sweden or Swedish Turks are people of ethnic Turkish origin living in Sweden. The majority of Swedish Turks descend from the Republic of Turkey; however there has also been significant Turkish migration waves from other post-Ottoman countries including ethnic Turkish communities which have come to Sweden from the Balkans, the island of Cyprus, and more recently Iraq and Syria.

Oliver Holton Lauridsen is a Danish professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Malmö Redhawks of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He previously played for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the older brother to Markus, who plays as a teammate with the Redhawks.
Västerviks Ishockeyklubb – commonly known as Västerviks IK or VIK – is a professional ice hockey team based in Västervik, Sweden. They currently play in the second-highest league in Swedish ice hockey system, HockeyAllsvenskan. The club had spent decades yo-yoing between the third and fourth tiers of Swedish ice hockey, Division 1 and Division 2, before securing promotion on March 31, 2016, to HockeyAllsvenskan for the 2016–17 season.
