Ctenidia mordelloides is a species of beetle in the family Mordellidae, the only species in the genus Ctenidia. [1]
The osphradium is a pigmented chemosensory epithelium patch in the mantle cavity present in six of the eight extant classes of molluscs, on or adjacent to the ctenidia (gills). The main function of this organ is disputed but it is believed to be used to test incoming water for silt and possible food particles or, in some species, for sensing the presence of light.
Odontogriphus is a genus of soft-bodied animals known from middle Cambrian Lagerstätte. Reaching as much as 12.5 centimetres (4.9 in) in length, Odontogriphus is a flat, oval bilaterian which apparently had a single muscular foot and a "shell" on its back that was moderately rigid but of a material unsuited to fossilization.
Neopilina is a highly derived genus of modern monoplacophoran.
Tonicella lineata, commonly known as the lined chiton, is a species of chiton from the North Pacific.
The Mordellidae are a family of beetles commonly known as tumbling flower beetles for the typical irregular movements they make when escaping predators, or as pintail beetles due to their abdominal tip which aids them in performing these tumbling movements. Worldwide, there are about 1500 species.
Dictenidia bimaculata is a species of cranefly which is widespread throughout the Palaearctic.
Ctenidium may refer to:
A ctenidium is a respiratory organ or gill which is found in many molluscs. This structure exists in bivalves, cephalopods, Polyplacophorans (chitons), and in aquatic gastropods such as freshwater snails and marine snails. Some aquatic gastropods possess one ctenidium known as monopectinate and others have a pair of ctenidia known as bipectinate.
Conaliamorpha lutea is a species of beetles in the family Mordellidae, the only species in the genus Conaliamorpha.
Glipidiomorpha is a genus of beetles in the family Mordellidae, containing the following species:
Hoshihananomia is a genus of tumbling flower beetles in the family Mordellidae. There are at least 40 described species in Hoshihananomia.
Pseudotomoxia is a genus of beetles in the family Mordellidae, containing the following species:

Neomordellistena is a genus of beetles in the family Mordellidae, containing the following species:
Mordellinae is a subfamily of beetles commonly known as tumbling flower beetles for the typical irregular movements they make when escaping predators, or as pintail beetles due to their abdominal tip which aids them in performing these tumbling movements.
The Stenaliini are a tribe of beetles in the family Mordellidae.
