DAMAC Residential Tower is a 50-storey, 170-metre high skyscraper located at 69-71 Bondway, Vauxhall, London. Originally scheduled to be completed by 2020, [2] the tower's opening was ultimately delayed to June 2022. [3]
The tower consists of 360 apartments, with interiors are designed by Donatella Versace. [4] The apartments went on sale on 21 July 2015, with all the Thames-side apartments having been "pre-sold". Prices start at £711,000 for a studio. [4]
In November 2013, KPF announced a proposal for new building to be called "New Bondway", featuring two connected towers of 50 stories and 23 stories featuring 450 flats, 3,700m2 of office space and 1,000m2 of shops. [5] The planning application to the London Borough of Lambeth is 14/00601/FUL. [1]
The original joint developers, Citygrove Securities and McLaren Property, sold the project to DAMAC Properties in June 2015. [6]
In August 2016, it was announced that DAMAC had awarded the £200 million building contract to Lendlease. [7]
Vauxhall is an area in London and is located in the London Borough of Lambeth and is in Central London. Vauxhall was part of Surrey until 1889 when the County of London was created. Named after a medieval manor, "Fox Hall", it became well known for the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.

It was originally a thirty-storey structure 111 metres (364 ft) high and was completed in 1972, designed by the architect Richard Seifert and built by John Laing. In recent years, the tower has undergone extensive redevelopment and a height increase.

South Bank Colleges is a further education college in the London Borough of Lambeth. It was formed in 1992, initially as Lambeth College, from three former institutions – Vauxhall College of Building and Further Education, Brixton College of Further Education, and South London College. The college serves around 10,000 students from its three campuses at Clapham,Brixton and Nine Elms. The Nine Elms campus opened in 2023 and this third site specialises in the provision of STEAM. Lambeth College joined London South Bank University (LSBU) Group on 31 January 2019 and became one of three national pilots designed to bring Further and Higher Education together. Now, renamed as South Bank Colleges, it comprises Lambeth College and London South Bank Technical College.

The Scalpel is a commercial skyscraper in London, United Kingdom. It is located at 52 Lime Street, on its corner with Leadenhall Street, in the City of London financial area. One The Elephant is a residential apartment development, in Elephant & Castle in the London Borough of Southwark, centred around a 37-storey 124m tall tower. At the base of the tower is an adjoining four-storey L-shaped pavilion containing apartments and commercial units. The development lies immediately adjacent to the Metropolitan Tabernacle and in close proximity to Elephant & Castle tube station.
One Nine Elms is a mixed-use skyscraper scheme currently under construction in Nine Elms, London. It was originally developed by Wanda One, a UK subsidiary company of Dalian Wanda, until they sold the project to R&F Properties, another Chinese firm in 2018. It was designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). The development replaces two towers on the site built in the 1970s called Market Towers and forms part of a wider redevelopment of the Nine Elms area of London. The development consists of two towers: the 57-storey City Tower contains 334 homes, while the 42-storey River Tower contains a 203-room Park Hyatt luxury hotel and 103 luxury Park Hyatt-branded apartments. Upon completion in 2024, One Nine Elms will become one of the tallest residential developments in London and the United Kingdom.
Sky Gardens Nine Elms is a residential and retail tower in Nine Elms, within the borough of Lambeth, London. The scheme has been designed by architects Careyjones Chapmantolcher (CJCT) and developed by Fraser Property Development UK. Its construction was part of a wider regeneration of the Nine Elms area of London. The building is 120 metres (390 ft) in height.
Cressingham Gardens is a council garden estate in Lambeth. It is located on the southern edge of Brockwell Park. It comprises 306 dwellings, a mixture of four, three and two-bedroom houses, and one-bedroom apartments. It was designed at the end of the 1960s by the Lambeth Borough Council Architect Edward Hollamby and second architect Roger Westman, and built at the start of the 1970s. In 2012 Lambeth Council proposed demolishing the estate, to replace the terraced houses by apartment blocks. Most of the apartments would then be for sale to the private sector. The residents, those in Lambeth who wish to prevent the gentrification of the borough, and those who want to conserve what they believe to be important architectural heritage, are campaigning to prevent its demolition.
The Nine Elms to Waterloo Viaduct is a large Victorian railway viaduct in south London. The viaduct is 2 miles (3.2 km) in length and carries the South West Main Line into Waterloo station. Initially constructed in 1848, the viaduct begins in eastern Battersea in Nine Elms and with an intermediate station at Vauxhall incorporated within the viaduct, the viaduct terminates at Waterloo. The viaduct comprises six iron girder bridges, with a combined weight of 800 long tons, and over 290 arches. The brick sections of the viaduct are composed of some 80,000,000 bricks. The viaduct is managed by Network Rail, who in turn lease many of the arches for commercial, retail and industrial use.
