Alessia Aquilani, known professionally as Alexia, is an Italian singer. Before recording in Italian in the 2000s, she made records in English in the 1990s. Many of those were international hits. Before her solo career, she was the vocalist of Ice MC.

Nicoletta Strambelli, known professionally as Patty Pravo, is an Italian singer. She debuted in 1966 and remained most successful commercially for the rest of the 1960s and throughout the 1970s. Having suffered a decline in popularity in the following decade, she experienced a career revival in mid-late 1990s and reinstated her position on Italian music charts. Her most popular songs include "La bambola" (1968), "Pazza idea" (1973), "Pensiero stupendo" (1978), and "...E dimmi che non vuoi morire" (1997). She scored fourteen top 10 albums and twelve top 10 singles in her native Italy. Pravo participated at the Sanremo Music Festival ten times, most recently in 2019, and has won three critics' awards. She also performed twelve times at the Festivalbar.
Fan Club is the debut studio album by Italian singer Alexia released in 1997. The album featured mostly eurodance tracks, as was producer Robyx's speciality. It was released in 1997 after the release of Alexia's fourth single "Uh La La La", yet no further singles were released from the album with the exception of two country specific releases of "Virtual Reality" and "Hold On". A version of "Virtual Reality" had already been released in Italy credited to E.Y.E. featuring Alexia.
Remix Album '98 is a compilation album released by the singer Alexia in 1998 in Poland. The album contained remixes of the four official singles from Alexia's debut album Fan Club along with the new track It's Christmas Time that had been released on the Christmas edition of Fan Club, two album tracks from Fan Club and a remix of Virtual Reality that was from a single release Alexia was credited to.

The Hits is the second compilation album and first greatest hits release by Italian singer Alexia released in 2000 and would be her final album released with Robyx and DWA. The album spans all her international singles from 1995 to 2000, with the sole new song being the lead single "Ti amo ti amo". As they were released in only one territory, the singles "Virtual Reality" and "Hold On" were not included on the album.
Ale is the eighth studio album by Italian singer Alexia released in 2008. The album is the first release on the Edel label after Alexia left Sony Music in 2007 and was the first studio album Alexia had released since 2004's Gli occhi grandi della luna. The album was released in Italy on CD on 27 June 2008 and for digital download the next day. A version which included the song Biancaneve was released in Europe on 24 July 2009.
Gli occhi grandi della luna is the seventh studio album by Alexia released in Italy on 5 July 2004. This would be the fourth album in which Alexia had a hand in production. The lead single from the album "Come tu mi vuoi" was written and produced by Sam Watters, Simone Hines, and Louis Biancaniello who had written for Anastacia, with the original English version being a bonus track. The second song to be lifted as a Radio promotional release was "Una donna sola". Both tracks would feature on Alexia's Italian greatest hits CD Da grande along with "Funky al cuore" and "Quello che sento".

"Da grande", one of the new songs from her 2005 hits collection Da grande is included and this is the only Alexia compilation album to feature the single Summerlovers. It was released on 19 February 2009 by Columbia and was the first and only release by Alexia on Sony's Columbia imprint.
Le più belle di... Alexia is the first budget compilation album of the singer Alexia, released in 2006 shortly before she left Sony. It is not regarded as an official Alexia hits compilation as it contains both singles and album tracks. Notably, nearly all of Alexia's physically released Italian singles except "Keep On Movin'", "Money Honey", "Summerlovers" and "Come tu mi vuoi " are included with the album spanning six of Alexia's seven studio albums and two compilation albums with all the new tracks featured on The Hits and Da grande featured. It was released on 22 June 2006, a few weeks before Alexia's final single with Sony "Du Du Du" which is not included on this release.
