Darandash (Persian : دارانداش‎, also Romanized as Dārāndāsh; also known as Tarandash)^[1] is a village in Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District, in the Central District of Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 327, in 64 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,527, in 1,329 families. The rural district has 12 villages.

The District has four cities: Marand, Zonuz, Koshksaray, and Bonab Jadid. The District has seven rural districts (dehestan): Bonab Rural District, Dowlatabad Rural District, Harzandat-e Gharbi Rural District, Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District, Koshksaray Rural District, Mishab-e Shomali Rural District, and Zonuzaq Rural District.
