Hans Florian Zimmer is a German film score composer and music producer. He has won two Oscars and four Grammys, and has been nominated for two Emmys and a Tony. Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph.

Dark Phoenix is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics X-Men characters. It is a sequel to 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, the tenth installment in the X-Men film series, fourth and final installment of the prequel films and the 12th installment overall and the first X-Men film without the involvement of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. It is also the final installment in the X-Men film series to be produced by Bad Hat Harry Productions, though the company was uncredited due to sexual assault allegations made against Bryan Singer on January 23, 2019. It was written, co-produced, and directed by Simon Kinberg and stars an ensemble cast featuring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, and Jessica Chastain.
Justice League: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the film of the same name composed by Danny Elfman. It was released on November 10, 2017, by WaterTower Music, while the physical edition was released on December 8 by WaterTower. Most of the material used in Elfman's soundtrack was discarded by Tom Holkenborg when he returned to score the 2021 director's cut of the film.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is the soundtrack album to the 2018 film of the same name directed by Ron Howard, which is the second instalment in the Star Wars anthology series. The score is composed by John Powell, with the Han Solo's theme conducted and composed by John Williams, whom he had collaborated for several Star Wars films, was included in the album. Williams further composed several demos, that were not included in the soundtrack but was released in the deluxe edition. Besides, composing the original themes, Powell also incorporated Williams' music from Star Wars films.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the film of the same name, itself a director's cut of the 2017 theatrical film which had its own soundtrack. Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, composed the film's score; he had previously worked on a score for the theatrical version of Justice League, before being replaced by Danny Elfman following original director Zack Snyder's departure and Joss Whedon's arrival. Upon Snyder getting the chance to finish and release his version of the film, Holkenberg was brought back and decided to rescore the film from scratch. The album was released via WaterTower Music on March 18, 2021, the same day as the film's release, and was later released as a limited-edition 7-disc vinyl set on April 14. The film's score is notable as the longest in film history at nearly four hours long.

Riff Raff, who had a role in the film but was cut, appears on the soundtrack.
The Lego Batman Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2017 computer-animated film The Lego Batman Movie, which is the second instalment in The Lego Movie franchise. The film is based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, and other primary characters from the DC Universe and the Lego DC Super Heroes' Batman toy line. This is the first and only film in the franchise not to be scored by Mark Mothersbaugh, instead Lorne Balfe scored for the film. A vinyl edition of the soundtrack was released on May 19, 2017.
X-Men: First Class is the soundtrack album to the 2011 film X-Men: First Class. The film, directed by Matthew Vaughn, is based on the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics, and is the fourth mainline installment in the X-Men film series and the fifth installment overall. Henry Jackman, who had worked with Vaughn in Kick-Ass (2010) composed the score, becoming the fourth composer to score for the series. The score consisted of pop and rock infused music, which is reminiscent of John Barry's themes from the 1960s.

The sixth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series, starring Tom Cruise, and the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015), the film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and featured original score composed by Lorne Balfe, in McQuarrie's maiden collaboration and also replacing Joe Kraemer who composed for McQuarrie's previous films, including Rogue Nation. The album was released digitally on July 13, 2018 by Paramount Music, and the physical version of the soundtrack was released by La-La Land Records on September 19.

The album features 43 tracks and was released by WaterTower Music on October 21, 2022,. It was preceded by two singles – Black Adam and the Justice Society's themes, released on September 30 and October 5, respectively.
