The Lion King:Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album for the eponymous Disney film. It contains songs from the film written by Elton John and Tim Rice,and a score composed by Hans Zimmer. Elton John has a dual role of performer for several tracks. Additional performers include Lebo M,Carmen Twillie,Jason Weaver,Rowan Atkinson,Joseph Williams,Whoopi Goldberg,Jeremy Irons,Cheech Marin,Jim Cummings,Nathan Lane,Ernie Sabella,and Sally Dworsky. The album was released on May 31,1994,on CD and audio cassette. The soundtrack was recorded in three different countries:the U.S.,the U.K. and South Africa. It is the best-selling soundtrack album to an animated film in the United States with over 7 million copies sold,with 4,934,000 copies sold in 1994. [8] Hans Zimmer was awarded an Academy Award for Best Original Score at the 67th Academy Awards in 1995. An expanded version of The Lion King soundtrack,featuring 30 minutes of previously unreleased material,was released as part of the Walt Disney Records:The Legacy Collection series on June 24,2014. In 2014,Hot Topic released a vinyl picture disc of the soundtrack. [9]

Walt Disney Records released an expanded edition of The Lion King soundtrack containing an additional thirty minutes of previously unreleased material from the film, as well as a collection of demo versions of cues. [9] This revision contains a new remastered mix by Alan Meyerson.
The soundtrack shipped over 10 million copies in the U.S. and eventually was 10× platinum in 1995, thus becoming the biggest-selling soundtrack ever from Disney's 1994 animated feature film. Its certification was promoted to Diamond when the award was instituted in 1999 by the RIAA. According to Nielsen Soundscan the soundtrack, as of April 2014, has sold a total of 7.873 million copies in the US. [8] It is also the best-selling vinyl album in the Nielsen SoundScan era (starting 1991), with 1,043,000 copies sold as of June 2014. [11]

MTV Unplugged is the first live album by Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, released by Maverick Records in the United States on November 9, 1999. It comprises songs performed by Morissette on the television program MTV Unplugged. Twelve tracks were included on the album, but Morissette also performed "Baba", "Thank U" and "Your House" during the live taping. These were later released as B-sides on the "King of Pain" single release. The first single, "That I Would Be Good", was moderately successful, and two other tracks, "King of Pain" and "You Learn" were released as singles outside North America. As of March 2012, the album has sold 673,000 copies in the U.S.
Caribou is the eighth studio album by English musician Elton John, released on 24 June 1974 by MCA Records in the US and on 28 June by DJM Records in the UK. It was his fourth chart-topping album in the United States and his third in the United Kingdom. The album contains the singles "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", which reached number 16 in the UK Singles Chart and number two in the US, and "The Bitch Is Back", which reached number 15 in the UK and number four in the US. Both singles reached number one in Canada on the RPM 100 national Top Singles Chart, as did the album itself.
Cross Road is the first official greatest hits album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released on October 11, 1994, by Mercury Records. David Paton and Charlie Morgan appear for the first time on bass and drums respectively, replacing original Elton John Band members Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson. Fred Mandel, who had played with John during the Breaking Hearts Tour, also contributed guitar and keyboards.

The Big Picture is the twenty-fifth studio album by English musician Elton John. It was released on September 22, 1997 through The Rocket Record Company and Mercury Records. The album was recorded at Townhouse Studios in London and is John's last release to date to be produced by Chris Thomas.

Best of Both Worlds Concert is the live soundtrack from Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, released on March 11, 2008 by Walt Disney Records. It includes live performances of songs from the soundtrack albums Hannah Montana (2006) and Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), which respectively accompany the first and second seasons of the television series Hannah Montana. All fourteen tracks are performed by its primary actress Miley Cyrus, although the first half are credited to her title character Hannah Montana.
