Tarzan:An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack is the soundtrack for the 1999 Disney animated feature film,Tarzan. The songs on the soundtrack were composed by Phil Collins,and the instrumental score by Mark Mancina. The song "You'll Be in My Heart" won both the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture,Television or Other Visual Media,while the soundtrack album won a Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack Album. For his contribution to the soundtrack,Collins received an American Music Award for Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.
Tarzan was the first Disney soundtrack to be recorded in multiple languages for different markets with Phil Collins also recording French,German,Italian and Spanish versions of the soundtrack,and he was assisted by composer Éric Serra to record and produce the French versions of the songs.
The Tarzan soundtrack was released by Walt Disney Records on May 18,1999. The soundtrack peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 during the week of July 10,1999,coinciding with the film's theatrical run. The album was a major comeback for Phil Collins,and put him back in the public eye. In the U.S. it reached double platinum status,becoming his best selling album of new material in a decade. A promotion was held at the Disney Store. Customers who bought the soundtrack received a free and exclusive single of "You'll Be in My Heart". The soundtrack itself was labeled limited edition,including a holographic cover and an individual collector's number.[ citation needed ]

Mark Mancina is an American film composer. A veteran of Hans Zimmer's Media Ventures, Mancina has scored over sixty films and television series including Speed, Bad Boys, Twister, Tarzan, Training Day, Brother Bear, Criminal Minds, Blood+, and Moana.
It's Time is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer, Michael Bublé. It was released on February 8, 2005 by 143 Records and Reprise Records. With arrangements by David Foster, the album contains cover versions of songs from traditional contemporary pop: George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder, and The Beatles, as well as the original song "Home", which was co-written by Bublé.

Hits, is the first greatest hits album by English drummer and singer-songwriter Phil Collins. It was released on 5 October 1998 in the UK, and one day later in the United States. The collection included fourteen top 40 hits, including seven American number one songs, spanning from the albums Face Value (1981) through Dance into the Light (1996). One new Collins recording, a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors", also appeared on the collection and was a popular song on adult contemporary stations. Hits was also the first Phil Collins album to include four songs originally recorded for motion pictures as well as his popular duet with Philip Bailey, "Easy Lover".

The Jazz Singer is an album by Neil Diamond from 1980, which served as the soundtrack album to the 1980 remake of the film The Jazz Singer. The soundtrack was released in November 1980 originally on Capitol Records, instead of his then-usual Columbia Records, because the film was produced by EMI Films, owned by the parent company of the label for which the soundtrack was released. The soundtrack was re-released in February 1996 on Columbia Records in the United States and Sony elsewhere. After Diamond signed with Capitol Records, this album was reissued by Capitol globally in 2014.
Unplugged is an acoustic live album by Canadian musician Bryan Adams. The album was recorded completely on September 26, 1997, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Recorded by David Hewitt and Bob Clearmountain on the Remote Recording Silver Truck. Adams was joined by Irish piper Davy Spillane and Michael Kamen who wrote orchestrations for many of the songs and brought students from the Juilliard School to play them. Three new songs were included; "Back To You", "When You Love Someone", and "A Little Love". The song "If Ya Wanna Be Bad - Ya Gotta Be Good" makes its debut on an album, originally appearing on the B-side of "Let's Make a Night to Remember" - to which it is paired on the Unplugged album. Absent from both the CD and DVD is "Hey Elvis", which is available on the single of "Back To You". A second single was released in early 1998, an acoustic reworking of the hard rock song, "I'm Ready".
