Pitch Perfect:Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the official music for the 2012 film Pitch Perfect . The soundtrack was released digitally on September 25,2012,and physically on October 2,2012. [2] Three songs from the album charted on the Billboard Hot 100:"Cups" by Anna Kendrick,which peaked at number 6;"Bellas Finals" by the Barden Bellas,which peaked at number 85;and "Riff Off" by the Barden Bellas,the Treblemakers,and the BU Harmonics,which peaked at number 86.
The album was the sixth best-selling soundtrack of 2012,with 212,000 copies sold for the year. [3] The album also became the best-selling soundtrack of 2013 in the United States,with 793,000 copies sold in 2013. [4] As of April 2015,the album has sold a total of 1.2 million copies in the US. [5]
The EP version of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was released on December 18,2012,in iTunes and physically as a Target exclusive. The EP contains four tracks that are performed by other rival groups of the Barden Bellas and the Treblemakers.
More from Pitch Perfect was released on June 4,2013. It contains eight tracks that are featured in the film,as well as the pop version of "Cups." The Anna Kendrick &Brittany Snow duet of "Titanium" was not included on the soundtrack and is only available in the film.
The Ultimate Edition version of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was released on February 10,2015,to coincide with the release of Pitch Perfect 2 . It contains all 24 tracks from the previous three releases (Original,Special Edition,and More From).
A remixed and longer version of "Cups" by Kendrick was released to radio on March 26,2013,and was later used as a theme song for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup football tournament. [1] In August 2013,the song peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100.

Glee: The Music, Volume 2 is the second soundtrack album by the cast of the American musical television series Glee, featuring songs from episodes nine to thirteen of the show's first season. It was first released on December 4, 2009 in Australia by Columbia Records. It has been certified platinum in Canada and Australia, and gold in the United Kingdom and the United States. Volume 2 received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the vocals of cast members Lea Michele, Amber Riley, and Kevin McHale, but felt the album was weak in arrangements and similar to a collection of karaoke tracks. "Titanium" was initially released for digital download on 8 August 2011, as the first of four promotional singles from the album. It was later released as the album's fourth single in December 2011. The song originally featured the vocals of American recording artist Mary J. Blige, whose version of the song leaked online in July 2011.
Pitch Perfect is a 2012 American musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore and written by Kay Cannon. Filming concluded in December 2011, in Rogers, Arkansas.
"Cups" is the only song released and performed by American actress Anna Kendrick on the 2012 extended play (EP) More from Pitch Perfect. The song rose to prominence following its debut in Pitch Perfect (2012). Republic Records released the "Pitch Perfect's When I'm Gone" remix on March 26, 2013. The original folk song was written in 1931 by A. P. Carter, and in 2009 it was reworked by British musicians Heloise Tunstall-Behrens and Luisa Gerstein recording under the group name Lulu and the Lampshades.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album for the Marvel Studios film Guardians of the Galaxy. Featuring the songs present on Peter Quill's mixtape in the film, the album was released by Hollywood Records on July 29, 2014. A separate film score album, Guardians of the Galaxy (Original Score), composed by Tyler Bates, was also released by Hollywood Records on the same date, along with a deluxe version featuring both albums. Mark Mothersbaugh was hired to compose the music for the film on December 3, 2014. The album was preceded by Flashlight as the lead single, which was initially offered with the album's pre-order, but was made available eventually on April 23, 2015. The special edition was later released on August 8, 2015.

The soundtrack is produced primarily by singer Justin Timberlake, Max Martin, and Shellback. It features work from Timberlake himself, along with Anna Kendrick, Ron Funches, Zooey Deschanel and Gwen Stefani, who all voice characters in the film, as well as Earth, Wind & Fire and Ariana Grande. The album was certified Platinum in Australia and Double Platinum in the United States. The song "Can't Stop the Feeling!" was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Grammy Award.
"Pray for Me" is a song by the Canadian singer-songwriter the Weeknd and the American rapper Kendrick Lamar from the soundtrack album of the Marvel Studios superhero film Black Panther. The song was released by Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records on February 2, 2018, as the album's third and final single. It serves as the second overall collaboration between the two artists. The song appears in the movie during the scene where the titular hero along with his allies, Nakia and Okoye, enter a secret casino in Busan.
