Darshana Das (born 31 March [1] ) is an Indian television actress who works in Malayalam-language soap operas.

Career

Darshana made her mini-screen debut through Pattu Saree as a soft-spoken village belle. [2] Her first negative character was Priyanka of 2015 television series 4 the people. [2] She rose into fame playing a negative shaded lead role Gayathri in Karuthamuthu . [3] She played the lead role in Sumangali Bhava [4] but later quit the show. [5] Later she appeared as the main antagonist Sarayu in Mounaragam but had to leave the show due to pregnancy. [6]

Darshana was born in Palakkad, Kerala. [2] She is graduated in English literature. [2] She has described herself as a reserved person. [7] She married boyfriend Anoop Krishnan in 2020, the assistant director of Sumangali Bhava in which is played the female lead. [7] The couple reside in Thodupuzha. [7] The couple have a son. [8]

Varane Avashyamund is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Anoop Sathyan, son of Sathyan Anthikad, in his debut. It was produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana and Kalyani Priyadarshan. It has music by Alphons Joseph. Swantham Sujatha was a 2020-2023 Indian Malayalam language television soap opera launched in Surya TV on 16 November 2020 and ended on 12 March 2023. It also streams on YouTube and Sun NXT. Chandra Lakshman plays the titular character alongside Kishor Satya. Both returned to Malayalam television after a hiatus. This show was temporary stopped due to COVID-19 from May 21, 2021, and was relaunched on July 5, 2021.

Solomante Theneechakal is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language romantic thriller film directed by Lal Jose and written by P. G. Prageesh. Produced by Lal Jose through the production house LJ Films, the film stars Joju George, Darshana S Nair and Vincy Aloshious along with debutants Shambhu Menon and Addis Antony Akkara. Vidyasagar composed the film's music, and the cinematography was handled by Ajmal Sabu.
