David Singeoi Kiptoo (born 25 June 1967 in Kapsabet [1] ) is a retired Kenyan athlete who competed mostly in the 800 metres. [2] He represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics finishing sixth in the final.
His personal bests in the event are 1:43.00 outdoors (1996) and 1:46.05 indoors (1999).

The 1896 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the I Olympiad and commonly known as Athens 1896, was the first international Olympic Games held in modern history. He has also represented Kenya at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships and the All-Africa Games.
