Theodorick Bland,also known as Theodorick Bland,Jr.,was an American planter,physician,soldier,and politician from Prince George County,Virginia. A major figure in the formation of the new United States government,Bland represented Virginia in both the Continental Congress and the United States House of Representatives,as well as served multiple terms in the Virginia House of Delegates representing Prince George County,which he also represented in the Virginia Ratification Convention.
William Grayson was a planter,lawyer and statesman from Virginia. After leading a Virginia regiment in the Continental Army,Grayson served in the Virginia House of Delegates before becoming one of the first two U.S. Senators from Virginia,as well as a leader of the Anti-Federalist faction. Grayson became the first member of the United States Congress to die while holding office.

He was among the signers of the Fairfax Resolves,represented Augusta County at four of the five Virginia Revolutionary Conventions and the first session of the Virginia House of Delegates during the American War for Independence,and after the conflict,represented newly established Rockingham County at the Virginia Ratification Convention,as well as contributed to the settlement of an area that long after his death become part of West Virginia.
John Francis Mercer was a Founding Father of the United States,politician,lawyer,planter,and slave owner from Virginia and Maryland. An officer during the Revolutionary War,Mercer initially served in the Virginia House of Delegates and then the Maryland State Assembly. As a member of the assembly,he was appointed a delegate from Maryland to the Philadelphia Convention of 1787,where he was a framer of the U.S. Constitution though he left the convention before signing. Mercer was later elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from two different districts in Maryland. In 1801—1803,he served as Maryland's 10th governor.
Joseph Neville Jr. was an American soldier,planter and politician from Virginia. In addition to military service during the American Revolutionary War and War of 1812,Neville represented Hampshire County in the Virginia House of Burgesses,several of the Virginia Revolutionary Conventions and in the House of Delegates during the American Revolutionary War. Fellow legislators twice elected him to the United States House of Representatives,where he served from 1793 until 1795. He died at the age of 85 in what became Hardy County during his lifetime.
Jabez Leftwich was an American politician,planter and military officer who represented Virginia's 14th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives between 1821 and 1825,as well as served in the Virginia House of Delegates representing Bedford County,and finally represented Madison County,Alabama in the Alabama House of Representatives after moving to that new state.

Burr Harrison was a Virginia planter,soldier and politician who served in the Virginia militia during American Revolutionary War,then two terms in the Virginia House of Delegates representing Prince William County.
Anthony Winston was an American military officer,politician and planter. About two decades after the death of his father of the same name,in Buckingham County,Virginia (which this man represented in the Virginia General Assembly both before and after the American Revolutionary War,he and his brothers moved to what became Mississippi Territory and later Alabama Territory,where several descendants continued the family's military,plantation and political traditions.
John Tayloe Corbin was a Virginia planter and politician who represented King and Queen County in the House of Burgesses. The son of powerful planter Richard Corbin,a member of the Governor's Council,he was likewise a Loyalist during the American Revolutionary War,but remained in Virginia. He was named after his maternal grandfather John Tayloe I.
