David James Potts (born 5 May 1993) is an English television personality. From 2016 to 2023, he appeared as head rep on the ITV2 reality series Ibiza Weekender and its successor Kavos Weekender . He has also appeared on the E4 dating series Celebs Go Dating and has finished as runner-up on Celebs on the Farm and Celebrity Karaoke Club . In 2024, he won the twenty-third series of Celebrity Big Brother .

Life and career

Potts was born on 5 May 1993 in Bolton, Manchester. [1] [2] In 2016, Potts joined the cast of the ITV2 reality television series Ibiza Weekender . [3] He joined during the show's fifth series as assistant head rep, alongside Ellie Young. He later returned and became head rep from the sixth series onwards. [4] In February 2019, Potts appeared in a celebrity episode of Dinner Date , where he went on dates with three different men. [5] The following week he began appearing on the sixth series of the E4 dating series Celebs Go Dating . [6] [7]

In September 2019, Potts was a contestant on the second series of the 5Star farming reality series, Celebs on the Farm in which he finished as the runner-up. [8] In July 2020, Potts competed in the first series of Celebrity Karaoke Club on ITV2. He finished as the runner-up, losing out to Scarlett Moffatt. [9] [10] In October 2021, Potts was a contestant on Celebrity Ghost Trip , the Halloween spin-off of Celebrity Coach Trip , alongside his Ibiza Weekender co-star, Callum Izzard. [11] [12] They reached the final day and finished in fourth place. In 2022, he appeared as a contestant on the ITV2 reality series Apocalypse Wow. [13]

Potts has also made several guest appearances on shows such as CelebAbility , Hey Tracey! , Home Alone with Joel Dommett and also hosted the spin-off episode of The Cabins on ITV2. [14] [15] [16] [17] [18] In March 2024, Potts was a housemate on the twenty-third series of Celebrity Big Brother . After 19 days, he was voted as the winner of the series. [19]

On 16 June 2012, it was announced that Russell Kane would be leaving Get Me Out of Here! NOW!. He has been replaced by comedian Rob Beckett.

Kavos Weekender was a British reality television series that premiered on ITV2 on 6 January 2013. The series follows a group of 18-24 year olds spending a weekend at a hotel resort. From series 1–3, it was titled The Magaluf Weekender, and was located at Lively Hotel in Magaluf. In 2015, for the fourth series, production was relocated to Ryans Ibiza Apartments, on the island of Ibiza, Spain, and the series was renamed Ibiza Weekender. In 2022, production was relocated to the Morfeas Hotel, Kavos for the tenth series, and the series was renamed Kavos Weekender.

Eyal Adi Booker is an English media personality. Whilst attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School, he was selected as a member of the music group EverYoung. Then in 2018, he was a contestant on the fourth series of Love Island. Booker later went on to appear on Celebs on the Ranch and Celebs Go Dating, as well as The X Factor: Celebrity as part of the group No Love Lost.

Laura Anderson is a Scottish television and radio personality. In 2018, she was the runner-up on the fourth series of Love Island. In 2022, she was a finalist on Celebrity Karaoke Club and also appeared on Celebs Go Dating. In April 2024, Laura was announced as the new co-host of Capital Breakfast on Capital Scotland, alongside Fat Brestovci.

Catherine Verona Gordon, known professionally as Verona Rose, is an English actress, comedian, television presenter and writer. She is known for writing and starring in various comedy series and for presenting the dating series Secret Crush on ITV2. She is also a regular fixture on British panel shows and was a contestant on the E4 series The Real Dirty Dancing in 2022.

Celebrity Big Brother 2024, also known as Celebrity Big Brother 23, is the twenty-third series of Celebrity Big Brother. It is the first celebrity series and second series of Big Brother overall to air on ITV after ITV plc gained the rights to the format. The series began on 4 March 2024, almost six years since it last aired on Channel 5 and was co-presented by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
