David White is a British make-up artist.

He has been nominated for 2 Academy Awards, and shortlisted for a nomination in the upcoming 97th Academy Awards for his work on Robert Eggers' 2024 version of Nosferatu (2024 film) , where he realised the newest version of Count Orlock with his special effects makeup design. David is most well known for his work on the film Guardians of the Galaxy .

He was nominated at the 87th Academy Awards in the category of Best Makeup and Hairstyling for his work on the film Guardians of the Galaxy . His nomination was shared with Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou. [1]

David is the owner of the company Altered States FX. [2]
