Temidayo Jordan "Dayo" Odeyingbo(Pronounced: DIE-oh Oh-DANG-boh) (born September 24, 1999) is an American professional football defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Vanderbilt, and was drafted by the Colts in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft.
The son of Nigerian immigrants, [1] Odeyingbo was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Irving, Texas, where he attended Ranchview High School. [2] He had 108 tackles and 12 sacks over the course of his high school career. Odeyingbo committed to play college football at Vanderbilt over offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Colorado, Baylor, and Purdue. [3]
Odeyingbo was a member of the Vanderbilt Commodores for four seasons. As a senior, he was named second-team All-SEC after recording 32 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks in eight games. [4] Odeyingbo finished his collegiate career with 125 tackles, 31.0 tackles for loss, and 12.0 sacks. [5] Odeyingbo tore his achilles tendon while preparing for the 2021 NFL draft. [6]

Despite his injury, Odeyingbo was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round with the 54th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. [10] On May 6, 2021, Odeyingbo officially signed with the Colts. [11] He was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list to start the 2021 season. [12] He was activated on October 30. [13]
Odeyingbo played in all 17 games in 2023, recording 38 tackles and finished third on the team with eight sacks. [14]
Odeyingbo's older brother, Dare, also played football at Vanderbilt and for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. [15] His mother, Betty Odeyingbo is currently a resident of Irving, Texas
Robert Nathan Mathis is an American former professional football player who spent his entire 14-year career as a defensive end and linebacker with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs and was selected by the Colts in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL draft. A two-time All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowler, Mathis won the Super Bowl XLI with the Colts in 2006 over the Chicago Bears. He is also the NFL's all-time leader in forced fumbles and strip sacks. The year after retiring, Mathis joined the Colts as an assistant defensive coach.
Willie Montae Reagor is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 1999 NFL draft, and also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles. Reagor was a coaching intern for the Eagles in 2011.
LaRon Louis Landry is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for LSU Tigers, and earned consensus All-American honors. The Washington Redskins selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft. He also played for the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

DeForest George Buckner is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oregon Ducks, and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. With the 49ers, Buckner made a Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro selection in 2019. With the Colts, he was selected to the first-team All Pro in 2020 and made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and 2023.
