Death's Design is Blakkheim's fourth and final album, released under the moniker of Diabolical Masquerade and his most experimental. The album is broken up into 20 movements, the shortest of which is just 6 seconds long. Also the album seems to be without genre, changing directions many times. According to the last update of Blakkheim's website it was to be an original motion picture soundtrack to a movie that was never made but that turned out to be a prank on everyone by Blakkheim. The European version features 61 tracks while the US release has 36, both have a similar length.

Dan-Erland Swanö is a Swedish musician and record producer who is currently the vocalist, guitarist, ex-bassist and ex-drummer for the band Nightingale, lately vocalist, keyboardist and drummer for the band Witherscape, as well as the owner of Unisound, but he achieved fame as the vocalist and songwriter of progressive death metal band Edge of Sanity.
There Goes the Neighborhood is the fifth solo studio album by the American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Walsh, guitarist for the Eagles. The album was released in early 1981, on the record label Asylum, three years after Walsh's album But Seriously, Folks.... A commercial and critical success, it is generally regarded as the culmination of the smoother, more adult-oriented sound of Walsh's solo work.
Diabolical Masquerade was a Swedish one-man black metal band with progressive influences. The band was formed in 1993 in Stockholm as side project of Anders Nyström, known for his work as the guitarist of Katatonia.
Pan.Thy.Monium was a Swedish avant-garde metal band formed and led by Dan Swanö with several members from another project of his, Edge of Sanity. The group disbanded in 1996, after recording Khaooohs and Kon-Fus-Ion.
Nightingale is a progressive rock/metal band from Örebro in Sweden.
Crimson II is the eighth and final full-length studio album by Swedish death metal band Edge of Sanity and is a continuation of the storyline first heard on the album Crimson (1996). It is the only Edge of Sanity release that does not feature original members Andreas Axelsson, Sami Nerberg, Anders Lindberg and Benny Larsson. Instead, it features contributions from guest musicians Mike Wead, Jonas Granvik, and brothers Roger and Simon Johannson.

Dawn of Dreams is the first studio album by avant-garde/progressive/death metal band Pan.Thy.Monium released in 1992. Contrary to popular belief, the tracks do have intended titles, but Swanö instructed Osmose Productions to not release these titles in the original pressing of the album, so for many years it was believed that the tracks were intended to be untitled. The official titles were not revealed until The Crypt's 2014 vinyl reissue of the album.

The Closing Chronicles is the second studio album by the Swedish progressive/AOR metal/rock band Nightingale, released by Black Mark Production in 1996. The album continues the story begun on The Breathing Shadow. Though it finds Swanö moving into the 1970s/AOR-orientated sound that became the band's trademark, the music is not as bombastic as their later albums due to the songs' stark arrangements giving the album an introspective, melancholy feeling. This is the first album to feature Dag Swanö on guitars and keyboards, as well as produce the album.
I is the third full-length studio album by Swedish progressive/AOR metal/rock band Nightingale. The album is a prequel to The Breathing Shadow story from the first two albums. With this album release, Nightingale solidifies its dark, 1970s progressive hard rock style.
White Darkness is a sixth studio album by the Swedish rock band Nightingale, released by Black Mark Production in 2007.
Alive Again is the fourth full-length studio album by the Swedish progressive/AOR metal/rock band Nightingale.
