Desulfatiferula olefinivorans is a Gram-negative, sulfate-reducing, long-chain alkene-degrading and motile bacterium from the genus of Desulfatiferula which has been isolated from oil-polluted sediments from Berre Lagoon in France. [1] [3] [4] [5] [6]
