Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt Ltd is an Indian movie production and distribution company based in Kolkata. The company was established by Dev and Gurupada Adhikari in 2017. In a short while, it became one of the leading Bengali movie production houses in Eastern India.
Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt Ltd was founded by Deepak Adhikari, better known in the Bengali film industry as Dev, one of the leading artists of Bengal in 2017, with his father Gurupada Adhikari. Dev started his career as an assistant to Abbas Mastan in Mumbai, after that he came to Kolkata for his debut film Agnishapath in 2004. After few years he shot to fame and commercial success with films like I Love You, Premer Kahini, Mon Mane Na, Challenge etc With the emergence of the new wave in contemporary Bengali cinema, Dev founded his company Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt Ltd to showcase new concepts and talents not from the same mold of the past. Since then all the films produced under his banner have gone on to be both critical as well commercial success and were termed pathbreaking in the Bengali film fraternity. [1]

Deepak Adhikari, known by his stage name Dev, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and screenwriter, known for his works in Bengali cinema and more recently, a politician. He owns the production house Dev Entertainment Ventures.
Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali film and television actor best known for his portrayal of the character Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical TV series Gaaner Oparey that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty is also known for acting in the Bengali classic periodic thriller TV series Byomkesh (2014-2015), where he played the role of iconic Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He hails from a family which has had a legacy of association with the Bengali cultural arena, starting from Jochhon Dastidar and Chandra Dastidar, Bijon Bhattacharya, Jagadish Chandra Chakrabarty & Monika Chakrabarty, and his parents Sabyasachi Chakrabarty & Mithu Chakrabarty. The film got positive response from critics and audience and was a box office 'hit'.
Password is a 2019 Indian Bengali-language vigilante action thriller film directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee. The film starring Dev, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Paoli Dam, Rukmini Maitra while Adrit Roy and Trina Saha played supporting roles. The film revolves around the dark side of social networking, and deals with stealing of password and privacy issue.It was released on 2 October 2019. Upon release, the film received critical acclaim, where critics praised the concept, action sequences, visual effects, message, music and cast performances. Despite receiving critical acclaim, the film didn't managed to do well at the box-office.

The film features Mithun Chakraborty, Mamata Shankar and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. The movie was theatrically released on 23 December 2022 and had its digital premiere on the streaming platform ZEE5 on 14 April 2023. Made on a budget of 1.5 Crores, it was a master hit at the box-office. The film was declared a blockbuster at the box office.
