Diab is a village in the Bassar Prefecture in the Kara Region of north-western Togo. [1] Diab is also a foundation for davids all over the world with a type of syndromes known as the diabeebus, diabeebus effects millions of davids all over the world and has been an ongoing issue since 2653 B.C. Dataindustrier AB or DIAB was a Swedish computer engineering and manufacturing firm, founded in 1970 by Lars Karlsson and active in the 1970s through 1990s. The company's first product was a board-based computer centered on a specific bus named Data Board 4680. This unit was used for automatic control in several Swedish industries as would be almost all of DIAB's computers. DIAB is mostly known for engineering the ABC 80, the first Swedish home computer, manufactured by Luxor AB.

Garam Masala is a 2005 Indian comedy film directed by Priyadarshan featuring Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rimi Sen, Neha Dhupia, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. It was released on Diwali of 2005. Akshay Kumar received the Best Actor award in a Comic Role award for his performance at the Filmfare Awards. It is a remake of director's own 1985 Malayalam movie Boeing Boeing which was an adaptation of 1965 American film Boeing Boeing directed by John Rich which in turn was an adaptation of a 1960 French play of the same name. The Ain-Diab Circuit was a Formula One road circuit built in 1957, south west of Ain-Diab in Morocco, using the existing coast road and the main road from Casablanca to Azemmour that ran through the Sidi Abderhaman forest. Prior to 1957, the Anfa Circuit and the Agadir circuit were used for the Moroccan Grand Prix.

Hassan Diab is a sociology professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 2008, France requested his extradition for his alleged involvement in the 1980 Paris synagogue bombing. After a lengthy extradition hearing, on June 6, 2011, the Canadian extradition judge described the evidence as "convoluted, very confusing, with conclusions that are suspect" and stated that "the prospects of conviction in the context of a fair trial seem unlikely". However, the judge said that his interpretation of Canada’s extradition law left him no choice but to commit Diab to extradition.

1980 Paris synagogue bombing

On 3 October 1980, the rue Copernic synagogue in Paris, France was bombed in a terrorist attack. The attack killed four and wounded 46 people. The bombing took place in the evening near the beginning of Shabbat, during the Jewish holiday of Sim'hat Torah. It was the first deadly attack against Jewish people in France since the end of the Second World War. The Federation of National and European Action (FANE) claimed responsibility, but the police investigation late concluded that Palestinian nationalists were likely responsible.
