Diadelia guineensis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Baguena Corella and Breuning in 1958. [1]
Eulophia, commonly known as corduroy orchids, is a genus of about two hundred species of flowering plants in the orchid family, Orchidaceae. Most Eulophia orchids are terrestrial but some are deciduous while others are evergreen. They either have an underground rhizome or pseudobulbs on the surface and those species with leaves have them on the end of a fleshy stem. The flowers are arranged on a thin flowering spike, the flowers having sepals which are larger than the petals. The genus is widely distributed but most species are found in Africa and Asia, usually growing in shady places with grass or shrubs in forests.
Elaeis is a genus of palms, called oil palms, containing two species, native to Africa and the Americas. They are used in commercial agriculture in the production of palm oil.
Ganoderma orbiforme – most commonly known as G. boninense or just Ganoderma in oil palm pathology – is a species of polypore fungus that is widespread across southeast Asia. It is a plant pathogen that causes basal stem rot, a disease of the African oil palm. The fungus was first described scientifically in 1838 by Elias Magnus Fries from collections made in Guinea. Leif Ryvarden transferred it to the genus Ganoderma in 2000. In addition to its type locality, the fungus has also been collected from the Bonin Islands in the Pacific, and from Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
The tiny serotine is a species of vesper bat. It is found in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Togo, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are savanna and subtropical or tropical shrubland.
The Guinean horseshoe bat is a species of bat in the family Rhinolophidae. It is found in Ivory Coast, Guinea, Liberia, Senegal, and Sierra Leone. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical forests, moist savanna, caves, and other subterranean habitats.
Eulophia guineensis is a species of orchid. It is the type species of the genus Eulophia and is commonly known as the Guinea Eulophia or the broad-Leaved ground orchid. It is found in the Cape Verde Islands, much of tropical Africa and part of the Arabian Peninsula. It is a terrestrial orchid that can grow to a metre or so tall, and is found in lowland and upland woods and scrubland.
Arctides guineensis is a species of slipper lobster that lives in the Bermuda Triangle. It is known in Bermuda as the small Spanish lobster, a name which is also favoured by the FAO.
Copelatus guineensis is a species of diving beetle. It is part of the genus Copelatus in the subfamily Copelatinae of the family Dytiscidae. It was described by Félix Guignot in 1955.
Elaeis guineensis is a species of palm commonly just called oil palm but also sometimes African oil palm or macaw-fat. The first Western person to describe it and bring back seeds was the French naturalist Michel Adanson.
Diadelia is a genus of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae, containing the following species:
Diadelia albovittata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1957.
Diadelia flavicollis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1957.
Diadelia flavovittipennis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1957.
Diadelia griseata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1957.
Diadelia lignea is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1940.
Diadelia ochreovittata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1970.
Diadelia nitidipennis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1966.
Diadelia densemarmorata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1964.
Diadelia laeviceps is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Breuning in 1942.
