Live performances also include a backing band, with previous performances consisting of Alora Lanzillotta, Charles Sergio, Anthony Wry, Dave Kitsberg, and Greg Lanzillotta. Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is the debut studio album by American rock band Tally Hall, originally released on November 12, 2005. Their previous recordings were all independently produced and distributed demos. All of the tracks on the album are finished versions of their demo tracks, with the exception of "Haiku," which is a completely new song. The album gets its name from a museum of mechanized curiosities that is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The album's cover art is also based on a number of machines located within the museum.

Consisting of mashups pairing Top 40 hits of the 1980s and 1990s along with Smash Mouth's "All Star", Mouth Sounds received positive reviews from music critics. It received a second installment, Mouth Silence, three months later, which followed the same mashup format, a third installment, Mouth Moods, in 2017, and a fourth installment, Mouth Dreams, in 2020.

Nature Tapes is the third EP by Lemon Demon, a musical project created by American musician Neil Cicierega. The EP released 2014, though all songs on its track list released prior as singles. The EP was released digitally through Bandcamp and other streaming services on March 24, 2014. On June 4, 2019, independent label Needlejuice Records announced vinyl, CD and cassette releases, and later a MiniDisc release in 2020. The EP received generally positive reception and was successful, with the track "Two Trucks" receiving over 27 million streams.

Panchiko is a British indie rock band originating from Nottingham, England. Formed sometime between 1997 and 1998, it originally consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Owain Davies, guitarist/keyboardist Andrew "Andy" Wright, bassist Shaun Ferreday, and a drummer named John. "The Bidding" is a song by American rock band Tally Hall. It was released on October 24, 2005 as track 5 of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. The song was written by Joe Hawley with vocals led by Hawley, Rob Cantor, and Zubin Sedghi. It received generally positive reception, amassing over 145 million plays on Spotify and 24 million plays on YouTube. In 2019, the song became a viral song on the social media platform TikTok, with many using the beginning verse and two ending verses as a sped-up soundbite on the site.

Needlejuice Records is an independent record label founded in September 2017 and operated by Austin Aeschliman, Jace McLain, and Brandon Brown. The label's first release, issued in 2017, was the album Polygondwanaland by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
