The vinyl and cassette releases contain the bonus tracks "Crisis Actors", "Redesign Your Logo", "Pizza Heroes", "You're at the Party" and "Angry People". [15] The bonus track "Kubrick and the Beast" was added to the vinyl and cassette releases starting with 2022 pressings. All physical releases also include a download card for the full album, along with album commentary by Cicierega, except for the CD release which already has the full album and commentary. [16]

The song describes a massive, citywide battle set in Tokyo started by Godzilla and Batman, ultimately lasting for a century and involving dozens of pop-culture icons with the music video's animation by Shawn Vulliez.

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is the debut studio album by American rock band Tally Hall, originally released on November 12, 2005. Their previous recordings were all independently produced and distributed demos. All of the tracks on the album are finished versions of their demo tracks featured in Complete Demos, with the exception of "Haiku," which is a completely new song. The album gets its name from a museum of mechanized curiosities that is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The album's cover art is also based on a number of machines located within the museum.

In 2022, independent label Needlejuice Records remastered and re-released the album on vinyl, CD, and cassette.

The Scary Jokes is the musical project of American singer-songwriter Liz Lehman, conceived by Lehman in 2014 in New Jersey. Their music has been characterized as bedroom pop and synthpop. Needlejuice Records is an independent record label founded in September 2017 and operated by Austin Aeschliman, Jace McLain, and Brandon Brown. The label's first release, issued in 2017, was the album Polygondwanaland by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
