A colorful lyrics music video was released on 17 November 2014 with the red colour prominent in the video symbolizing the red campaign. A full music video is yet to be released for the song.

Chart performance

"Divine Sorrow" debuted at number 12 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, becoming Avicii's 13th single on the chart. The song also debuted at number 3 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart, selling 29,000 copies in its first week. [4]

Wyclef and Avicii performed the track for the first time on August 24, 2014, in Ushuaia Ibiza, Spain.

On November 23, 2014, Wyclef Jean also performed a few brief verses from "Divine Sorrow" during the 2014 American Music Awards as an intro to a duet with MAGIC! in the latter's song "Rude". The medley was released on iTunes as a download under the title "Divine Sorrow/Rude (Medley) (2014 American Music Awards)".

Nel Ust Wyclef Jean is a Haitian rapper and musician. At the age of nine, Jean immigrated to the United States with his family. Shakira and Jean wrote the lyrics and jointly composed the music with additional co-writing by Shakira's percussionist Archie Pena. The song was produced by Shakira and Jean with additional co-production by Jerry Duplessis. "Hips Don't Lie" is a reworking of Jean's earlier single "Dance Like This", therefore it features additional composing credits by Omar Alfanno, Duplessis, Luis Días, and LaTavia Parker. The song incorporates samples from "Amores Como el Nuestro" written by Alfanno, and "Carnaval " written by Días.

Tim Bergling, known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish DJ, remixer, and music producer. At age 16, Bergling began posting his remixes on electronic music forums, which led to his first record deal. He rose to prominence in 2011 with his single "Levels". His debut studio album, True (2013), blended electronic music with elements of multiple genres and received generally positive reviews. It peaked in the top 10 in more than 15 countries and topped international charts; the lead single, "Wake Me Up", topped most music markets in Europe and reached number four in the United States.

Stories is the second studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Avicii, released on 2 October 2015 by PRMD Music and Island Records. It was produced by Avicii along with Salem Al Fakir, Alex Ebert, Carl Falk, Kristoffer Fogelmark, Martin Garrix, Dhani Lennevald, Ash Pournouri, Albin Nedler, and Vincent Pontare on several tracks. It is his final album before his death in 2018. This album was followed by his 3rd and final album, Tim which was released posthumously in June of 2019.
