Dominic Adrian Clapp (born 25 May 1980) is an English former cricketer.
Clapp was born at Southport in May 1980 and was educated at Lancing College. Clapp made his senior debut in county cricket for the Sussex Cricket Board in a List A one-day match against Herefordshire at Colwall in the 1st round of the 2000 NatWest Trophy;with Sussex winning the match,he subsequently appeared in the following round against Berkshire at Hastings,which Sussex lost. [1] In 2000,he was offered a one-year contract extension by Sussex,alongside Paul Havell,Matt Prior,and Michael Yardy. [2] Having played for the Sussex Second XI in 3-day matches since 1999,Clapp made his first-class debut for Sussex against Leicestershire at Horsham in the 2002 County Championship; [3] he credited his first-class debut to Les Lenham,who helped Clapp to improve his batting in the nets during the winter of 2001–02. [4] He made a single one-day appearance for Sussex,against the touring West Indies A cricket team at Hove in 2002. [1] Having been released by Sussex at the end of the 2002 season. Clapp joined Hampshire for the 2003 season, [5] making just one first-class appearance against Oxford UCCE at Oxford in 2003. [3] He was released by Hampshire at the end of the 2005 season. [6]
Clapp proceeded to play club cricket for Brighton and Hove Cricket Club. In 2006,he became only the third player to score 1,000 runs in the Sussex Cricket League. The following season,he joined Worthing Cricket Club as captain. [7] In May 2008,he made the highest individual score in the Sussex Cricket League by a Worthing batsman,when he made 200 not out at Manor Road against Pulborough Cricket Club. [8]

Cork was a right-handed lower-order batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium,and was renowned for his swing and seam control. In 1995,he took the best figures for an England bowler on Test debut,with 7 for 43 in the second innings against the West Indies.

Jason Lewry is an English former cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm fast-medium bowler. Born in Worthing,he played for Sussex from the beginning of his career in 1994 until his retirement in 2009,a career spanning 16 years,in spite of numerous injuries.
Joe Stephen Gatting is a first-class cricketer and former footballer who played for Hampshire until he was released at the end of the 2015 season. Gatting previously played football for Brighton &Hove Albion as a striker before being released on 31 October 2008. He however returned to football part-time for one season with Whitehawk.
Gehan Dixon Mendis is an former cricketer who was an opening batsman for Sussex and Lancashire between 1974 and 1993. He was part of the Lancashire team that won the 1990 Benson &Hedges Cup and 1990 NatWest Trophy. Mendis scored over 21,000 runs in his first-class career.

Philip Dean Salt is a professional cricketer,who plays internationally for England and domestically for Lancashire County Cricket Club,and previously for Sussex. Primarily an aggressive right-handed opening batsman,he sometimes keeps wicket and,less frequently,bowls right-arm medium-pace. Salt made his international debut for England in July 2021. Born in Wales,he moved in his youth to Barbados and then to England. Salt was part of the England team that won the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup.
George Henry Simmons Garton is an English international cricketer who plays for the England national cricket team and Sussex County Cricket Club. He is a left-handed batsman who bowls left-arm fast. He made his international debut for England in January 2022.
Stuart Gordon Whittingham is a Scottish former cricketer who played for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club as well as representing his country in One Day Internationals. Whittingham has also represented Loughborough MCC University,Sussex and the Scotland Under-19 cricket team. Primarily a right-arm fast-medium bowler,he also bats right handed. However,in September 2020,Whittingham was forced to retire from cricket due to a back injury.
Jack Joshua Carson is a professional cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 1 August 2020,for Sussex in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy. He was Sussex's leading wicket-taker in the competition,and also the 2021 County Championship. Carson is eligible to play international cricket for either England or Ireland.
