The Comedy of Errors is one of William Shakespeare's early plays. It is his shortest and one of his most farcical comedies, with a major part of the humour coming from slapstick and mistaken identity, in addition to puns and word play. It has been adapted for opera, stage, screen and musical theatre numerous times worldwide. In the centuries following its premiere, the play's title has entered the popular English lexicon as an idiom for "an event or series of events made ridiculous by the number of errors that were made throughout".

This movie was remade in Odia in 2015 as Pilata Bigidigala, in Telugu in 2016 as Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, in Bangladesh (Bengali) in 2017 as Dhat Teri Ki and in Bengali (India) in 2019 as Jamai Badal.

The story is based on the lives of ladiesman Lucky; and his three married friends and how they enchance minor trouble. The film was released on 26 April 2013. The core storyline was loosely based on the 2002 Tamil movie Panchathantiram which itself was inspired by the 1998 movie Very Bad Things.

It is a Punjabi comedy about a simple boy, Tittu, and his journey to finally marry the girl of his dreams, Simran. She in turn happens to be interested in the local gangster, Gill Baiji. Gill Baiji gets shot by his arch rival Sidhu and this event changes Tittu's fate forever. The film has Jaswinder Bhalla, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, B.N. Sharma and Jaggi Singh in supporting roles; it marked the Punjabi debut for Sapna Pabbi.
