Melliana Cessy "Melly" Goeslaw is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, composer, producer, writer, and actress. She began singing in the fifth grade, then began writing songs and took work as a backing vocalist for Elfa Secioria in high school. This led to her family and her moving to Jakarta to further her career. While providing backing vocals for Katon Bagaskara's promotional tour, she met Anto Hoed and Andi Ayunir. After marrying Hoed, the three formed the band Potret in 1995. Their 1995 debut album was well received, bringing Goeslaw and her bandmates to fame. As of 2011, she has written over 500 songs.

"Dengan Menyebut Nama Allah" is a song recorded, composed and arranged by Indonesian musician, songwriter and record producer Dwiki Dharmawan. Taken from his first special album of the same name, released in 1993, the song is written and co-produced by Ags. Arya Dipayana, and features vocals performed by singer and actress Novia Kolopaking. It is primarily an Islamic-influenced pop song with keyboards and choir-like vocals, while the lyrics hint towards themselves do many ways to feel good.

Collaborating Harmony: Dwiki Dharmawan is the first compilation album by Indonesian songwriter Dwiki Dharmawan. It was released by Sony Music on 6 February 2014, almost a year after his special album, Menembus Batas. Created as part of his thirtieth anniversary celebration, the album was inspired by Dharmawan's musical journey in Indonesian music over the years. It consists of twelve tracks that are mostly cover versions of Dharmawan's songs, along with three new songs written by him. Sony Music Indonesia's founder Jan Djuhana served as the album's executive producer, with Badai, Erwin Bragi, Tanto of the Groove, Tito P. Soenardi and others contributed production.

Regret is a 1995 Indonesian independent Islamic teen drama film directed by Sophan Sophiaan, based on the short story of the same name by Ramdhan K. H. Produced by Sophiaan's own company Sinemasakini in association with Global Sarana Media Nusantara and Multi Permai Films, the film stars Widyawati and Sophiaan in their respective lead roles.

"Melangkah Di Atas Awan" is a song recorded by Indonesian singer and actor Ronnie Sianturi of Trio Libels, in his vocal role as Yudi. It was first made available in the Indosiar musical television series of the same name on September 11, 1997, before officially released as a single of his compilation album of the same name in December 1997 through Musica Studios as the song's distributor. It marked Sianturi's first solo single in three years, since "Sudikah Kamu" (1994). The song was primarily composed, arranged and produced by Dwiki Dharmawan, with its lyrics penned by Eddy D. Iskandar.

Novia Sanganingrum Saptarea Kolopaking is an Indonesian singer and actress. She is known for singing "Dengan Menyebut Nama Allah" co-composed by Dwiki Dharmawan, released in 1992.

Kabulkan Doaku is a 2000 Indonesian Ramadan family television series directed by Maman Firmansyah from a screenplay written by Bung SMAS. Premiered at RCTI on November 20, 2000, the series stars the ensemble cast led by Adjie Massaid, Dian Nitami, Devi Permatasari, Teddy Syah and Mega Utami.

Indonesian jazz and pop musician Dwiki Dharmawan have made a cultural impact with his music, artistry, identity and performances worldwide. After releasing "Gemilang" in 1987 with his band Krakatau and "Dengan Menyebut Nama Allah" in 1993 with Novia Kolopaking, he steadily amassed fame, success and public interest throughout his career, becoming a cultural icon. He often dubbed the "Indonesian Jazz Ambassador" immediately after he performed in over 30 countries.

"Gemilang" is the debut single recorded by Indonesian band Krakatau. It was released in January 1987, through Bulletin, as the lead single for their debut eponymous album. The song is written by Mira Lesmana, alongside the band's keyboardist Dwiki Dharmawan.
