Stephen Ogonji Tikolo is a former Kenya international cricketer, and a former One Day International captain. Widely regarded as the greatest Kenyan cricketer ever, Tikolo has scored the most runs and taken the second most wickets for the team in One Day Internationals. As captain, he led Kenya to the semi-final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
The 2005 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament held in Ireland between 1 July and 13 July 2005. It was an international one-day tournament played over 50 overs per side between 12 Associate Members of the International Cricket Council. John Francis Mooney is a former Irish cricketer. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium fast bowler, Mooney made his first-class debut in 2004. He had previously represented Ireland in the Under-19s World Cup of 2000 and has captained Ireland A. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2006 in Ireland's inaugural match in the format. In January 2010, Mooney became one of six players with full-time contracts with Cricket Ireland. He was named "Ireland Player of the Year" for 2010. His brother, Paul, has also represented Ireland in international cricket.

The 2009 ICC Awards were held on 1 October 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa before the semi-finals of 2009 ICC Champions Trophy. Nominations were announced in Mumbai in early September while short lists were announced on 15 September. These awards were given on the performance of the players between 13 August 2008 and 24 August 2009 and were presented in association with the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations (FICA). Performances from both players and officials were taken into account during this period of time for the game.
Dawlat Zadran is an Afghan cricketer. Zadran is a right-arm fast bowler and a right-handed batsman, though he is better known for his bowling. He was born in Paktia Province.
Ernst Steven van Giezen is a former Dutch international cricketer who represented the Dutch national side in a single match in 2005. He played as a left-arm pace bowler.
