Jim Costa is an American politician from California currently serving in the United States House of Representatives from California's 21st congressional district. Costa has served the 21st district since 2023, with him previously serving the 16th district from 2013 to 2023 and the 20th district from 2005 to 2013. [1] Costa previously served in the California State Assembly from 1978 to 1994 and in the California State Senate from 1994 to 2002. [2]
