Electric Love is an electronic dance music festival held annually since 2013. [1] [2] It takes place at the second weekend in July at the Salzburgring in Plainfeld, Austria. Headliners have included Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tiësto. According to Technoton Magazin, the 2014 festival attracted over 100,000 attendees. It is operated by Revolution Event GmbH. [3]
According to EMF Magazine, the festival is "Austria's leading electronic music festival". [4]
The venue of Electric Love Festival is the Salzburgring, a race track opened in 1969 between Koppl and Plainfeld near Salzburg in the lake district of the Salzkammergut. Between 2001 and 2008, the Frequency Festival with 45,000 visitors per day according to the organizers already took place on the grounds. Surrounding cow meadows provided by farmers serve as camping areas. [5]
Mainstage: The main stage is located in the paddock of the race track.[10] Headliners from various EDM genres perform here.
Club Circus: This is the largest indoor stage. Since 2016, it has been hosted by the Dutch label Pussy Lounge on one day. In 2022, Blacklist, a series of events at Cologne based club Bootshaus, took over hosting the stage for one day for the first time. [6] Also, the pre-party has been held here since 2015. [7]
Harder Styles: The stage was hosted by Dutch label Q-Dance from 2015 to 2019. It is the second largest stage. [8] Since 2022, the stage has been planned by the organizer itself and has since been called Hard Dance Factory.
Heineken Starclub: A club on the festival grounds where hip-hop and rap-artists perform. [9]
Honeycomb: A techno stage which was used in 2019. [10]
Shutdown Cave: In the "Shutdown Uptempo Cage - BPM Deluxe" the Harder Styles from 200 bpm are played. The name derives from the Shutdown Festival, a hardcore event in Zwentendorf.
Organics Beach: For the first time in 2022, an area on the beach of Fuschlsee opens before the festival. It is a separated event and offers activities such as yoga and creative sessions. [11]
Almhütte: a traditional Austrian après-ski hut with two floors.
Traditionally, the festival is opened by Electric Love resident Felice, who is accompanied by a local choir and orchestra. [12] In 2019, street performers from all over Europe were part of the show. [13]

Due to COVID-19 pandemic the festival got cancelled in 2020 and postponed in 2021 to Aug 26 – Aug 28, 2021 with a special concept of only 10.000 Festival attendees per day.
Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from EBM in Frankfurt, Germany, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and quickly spread throughout Europe.
Tijs Michiel Verwest, known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Mag readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources.
"L'amour toujours" is a song co-written and recorded by the Italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino. The song was released to American clubs and dance radio in July 2000. In Europe, the song was released in October 2000. The song is from D'Agostino's 1999 album of the same name. Ola Onabule is the vocalist of this song. He performs all the vocals on the track and on all versions of the song. It became an international success and a huge hit throughout Europe, Latin America, Asia and Canada. In 2001, the song became extremely popular in the American dance club scene, peaking at number 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 15 September 2001. The album version has a different mix, which was used as the single version in the United States except with vocal samples from "Bla Bla Bla" added.

Throughout his career, Dutch electronic DJ and producer Tiësto has released seven studio albums. After spending years searching for his personal style and working with DJs like Ferry Corsten, Benno de Goeij and Armin van Buuren, he decided it was time to focus on his solo work. Tiësto's fame started to rise in the late 1990s after his set at the first ID&T Innercity party, and it continued to skyrocket in the early 2000s following his six-hour "Tiësto Solo" sets, which he performed without any other DJs or opening acts. Tiësto's Club Life is Dutch DJ Tiësto's weekly radio show that was formerly broadcast on Radio 538 in the Netherlands. It was broadcast on 3FM, but in 2015, Tiësto came back to Radio 538. The show started broadcasting on 6 April 2007 every Friday evening, from 10 PM CET to midnight. The show is also frequently broadcast on the Sirius and XM satellite radio channel Electric AREA. The show was originally called Club Nouveau for the first five episodes before being renamed Club Life.

W&W is a Dutch DJ and record production duo composed of Willem van Hanegem Jr. and Wardt van der Harst. They began their careers by producing trance music, before venturing into big room house and other forms of EDM.
Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso, better known by his stage name Tchami, is a French record producer and DJ from Paris. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he is best known for his solo work and regarded as a pioneer of the future house genre – the term for which he coined – alongside Dutch DJs Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo.
Electrobeach Music Festival is an annual in July electronic dance music festival held at a park in Port-Barcarès, France. Recent lineups include Afrojack, Tara McDonald, Dirty South, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Armin Van Buuren. Nervo are an Australian DJ duo comprising twin sisters Olivia and Miriam Nervo. After signing with Sony/ATV Music Publishing at 18 years of age, the sisters pursued careers as songwriting partners.
