Chaz Hall, better known by his stage name Elucid (often stylized as E L U C I D), is an American rapper and record producer from New York City. He has been a member of Armand Hammer, [2] Cult Favorite, [3] Lessondary, [4] Nostrum Grocers, [5] and Small Bills. [6]

Early life

Elucid was born Chaz Hall in Jamaica, Queens. [7] His mother was a singer and his father was a bassist. [7] He grew up in Deer Park, New York. [7] Subsequently, he moved to East New York, Brooklyn. [8]

Career

Elucid released his debut solo studio album, Save Yourself, in 2016. [9] In 2017, he released a mixtape, Valley of Grace. [10] In 2018, he released a collaborative studio album with Milo, titled Nostrum Grocers, under the group moniker Nostrum Grocers. [11] In that year, he also released a mixtape, Shit Don't Rhyme No More. [12] In 2019, he released a mixtape, Every Egg I Cracked Today Was Double Yolked. [13] He released "Seership!" in 2020. [14] In that year, he also released a collaborative studio album with The Lasso, titled Don't Play It Straight, under the group moniker Small Bills. [15] In 2022, he released a solo studio album, I Told Bessie. [1]

Acid Rap is the second mixtape by American rapper Chance the Rapper. It was released on April 30, 2013, as a free digital download. In July 2013, the mixtape debuted at number 63 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, due to bootleg downloads on iTunes and Amazon not affiliated with the artist. The mixtape has been certified "diamond" on mixtape site Datpiff, for garnering over 1,000,000 downloads. It was rereleased on streaming services on June 21, 2019, alongside his 2012 mixtape 10 Day. A 10th anniversary Complete Edition was later released, including the full version of "Juice", which previously wasn't available for streaming due to sampling issues.

Number 1 Angel is the third mixtape by English singer Charli XCX, released on 10 March 2017 by Asylum Records. Days with Dr. Yen Lo is a full-length studio rap album by the duo Dr. Yen Lo – Ka and DJ Preservation. The pair recorded the album at The End in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, where it was released on May 16, 2015 via Pavlov Institute Records. The album was produced by Preservation with Tim Fodness as co-producer. The group's name, as well as the album title, were inspired by Khigh Dhiegh's character Dr. Yen Lo from John Frankenheimer's 1962 film The Manchurian Candidate.
