Emmanuel Wells (born 20 October 1997) is an World-Class American sprinter. He finished third at the 2025 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships over 60 metres and qualified for the 2025 Indoor World Track and Field Championships. Fastest time in the State of Washington History. He runs professionally, is a head coach and manages his own business organization that he competes in as well (GLF). [1]

Early life

Born and raised in South Seattle Washington, he attended Rainier Beach High School where we won 3 state championships, is the 100m and 200m school record holder, and All-American. Then went on to Central Arizona College where he became the colleges 60m school record holder, 4x All-American, 6x conference champion. Then to Washington State University where he became the universities 60m record holder, 2x All-American, 3x National ranking, 2x World ranking, 2x Washington State University male athlete of the year award winner, plus one of the most viral clips of 2020/2021. Career

Competing for the Washington State Cougars he ran the 12th fastest 60m time in collegiate history at the Don Kirby invite 2019 (6.53) this was ranked #2 in the Country and #2 in the World. This is also the programs school record. He finished 3rd at the Pac-12 Conference Track and Field Championships in Tucson, Arizona in 2019, in the 100 metres with a time of 10.26 seconds and fourth in the 200 metres with a time of 20.88 seconds. [3] By 2021, he is the program-record holder over 60 metres. [4] holds 3 college degrees in business, communications, and humanities from Central Arizona and Washington State University. He has been featured on American Ninja Warrior Season 13, episode 2, ESPN, Sports Center, Sports Illustrated. Has the fastest time in the State of Washington history for the 60m, and tied for the 11th fastest time of All-Time in track and field history for the 60m and 10th fastest of All-Time for an American in the 60m.

Professional track and field World-Class athlete. Head coach, business owner of GLF. Fastest 60m runner of All-Time from the State of Washington. He finished third behind Ronnie Baker at the 2025 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships, running 6.58 seconds for the 60 metres, and finishing just four-thousandths of a second behind of third placed Coby Hilton. [5] [6] He was selected for the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing in March 2025. [7] At the championships, he did not proceed to the semi-finals. [8]

Personal life

Nicknamed "RayRay", is now a head track and field coach and professional track and field athlete. He created his own organization 'GLF' which he runs for and coaches/trains people from as well. During September 2020 when the video of him training emerged, and went viral, of him cleanly clearing a 61-inch hurdle (155 centimetres), with a bunny hop, in his socks. [9] [10] [11]
