Kalutarage Eric Amila Upashantha (commonly known as Eric Upashantha;born 10 June 1972) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer,who played two Test matches and 12 One Day Internationals for Sri Lanka. He was educated at Maliyadeva College,Kurunegala. [1] He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
He bowls a considerable line and length,and plays well against seam bowlers. Upashantha played Twenty20 cricket in 2004 and List A cricket the following season. He made his Twenty20 debut on 17 August 2004,for Colts Cricket Club in the 2004 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. [2]
Upashantha had been at the edge of the Sri Lankan team for several years,having made his One Day International debut in 1995–1996. Without action in the intervening three years,he reappeared in the 1999 Asian Test Championship before his debut Test against India. He has also participated in the Pepsi Cup and 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Since 2000 he has only sporadically played for Sri Lanka,being generally second choice in his position in the team to Dilhara Fernando as the back-up to Chaminda Vaas.
Deshabandu Sanath Teran Jayasuriya,is a former Sri Lankan cricketer,captain,cricket administrator and coach. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest all rounders ever to play in ODI cricket. A left arm orthodox spinner,left handed batter and a dynamic fielder,Jayasuriya together with his opening partner Romesh Kaluwitharana is credited for having revolutionized one-day international cricket with his explosive batting in the mid-1990s,which initiated the hard-hitting modern-day batting strategy of all nations. He was a key member of the Sri Lankan team that won 1996 Cricket World Cup. Under his captaincy Sri Lanka became joint champions along with India in the 2002 Champions Trophy. Currently,he is the head coach of the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan,commonly known as TM Dilshan is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. He is often regarded as the best rated Sri Lankan player in run-chases in ODI history and one of the most innovative players of all time. He was the top run scorer in the 2011 Cricket World Cup with 500 runs,and scored a century against England in the quarter-final. Dilshan is considered to be a rare example of a cricketer with notable skills in all aspects of the game,who can bat,bowl,field and keep wicket. He is an aggressive right-hand batsman who invented the scoop,which has come to be known as the Dilscoop,a shot that hits the ball over the keeper. Apart from being an opening batsman,he is also a capable off-break bowler. Energetic in the field,he usually fielded at the point region. He was part of the Sri Lankan team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.
Deshabandu Umagiliya Durage Upul Chandana,popularly known as Upul Chandana,is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played both Tests and ODIs. He was more specifically a leg spin bowler and was also an outstanding fielder. He was a part of the Sri Lankan squad which won the 1996 Cricket World Cup,however he did not play any matches during the tournament. Chandana is considered to be one of the best leg spinners who ever played for Sri Lanka. He was also a competent lower-order batsman,having scored a total of seven half-centuries at international level.
Abdul Razzaq is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer,who played all formats of the game. Known as a gifted all-rounder,he was a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman. He emerged in international cricket in 1996 with his One Day International debut against Zimbabwe at his home ground in Gaddafi Stadium,Lahore;just one month before his seventeenth birthday. He was part of the Pakistan Cricket squad that won the ICC World Twenty20 2009. He was a part of the Pakistan squad which finished as runners-up at the 1999 Cricket World Cup. He played 265 ODIs and 46 Tests.
Mohamed Farveez Maharoof,or Farveez Maharoof,is a Sri Lankan former professional cricketer,who played Tests and ODIs. He first made his impression in the 2004 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in which he captained the Sri Lankan team. He enjoyed a prolific school career for Wesley College,with a highest score of 243 and best bowling figures of 8 for 20. An all-rounder,he made his Test debut in 2004. He was part of the Sri Lankan team which finished as runners-up at the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

Considered as one of the best spinners to ever play the game,Herath is the most successful left arm bowler in Test cricket history. Herath was a member of the Sri Lankan team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.

He is appointed as under-19 coach of Bangladesh. Under the coaching of Nawaz,in The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup Bangladesh beat India by three wickets to win the tournament.

Timothy Grant Southee,is a former New Zealand international cricketer who has captained New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. The third New Zealand bowler to take 300 Test wickets,he was one of the country's youngest cricketers,debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings.
