Errol 'Emau' Rudolph Emanuelson (born April 16, 1953) is a retired Surinamese footballer who played as a forward for SV Robinhood in the Hoofdklasse, and for the Suriname national team. He also spent a loan spell in Belgium playing for Sint-Niklaas. [1]
Emanuelson began his career in Nieuw Nickerie, Suriname, in the youth ranks of Santos at age 14. In 1970, he moved to Paramaribo to play in the youth teams of Tuna with whom he won the youth championship. In 1975, he made the move to SV Robinhood where he played as a forward forming the attack of Robinhood together with Rinaldo Entingh and Roy George. In 1976, he made a name for himself in a friendly fixture against Dutch club Ajax while Robinhood were on a tour of the Netherlands. [2] He helped Robinhood to win three national titles in 1975, 1976 and 1979, and was the league top scorer for three consecutive seasons in 1976, 1977 and 1978. [3] He also helped Robinhood to placement in the CONCACAF Champions' Cup finals, where they would finish as runners-up twice, conceding to C.D. Águila from El Salvador in 1976 and Mexican side Club América in 1977. [4] [5] On 30 July 1979 Robinhood were granted permission by the SVB to loan Emanuelson to Belgian side Sint-Niklaas where he played for one season.
Emanuelson made his first appearance for the Suriname national team in 1971 playing in the Kingdom Games. In 1975, he was part of the Suriname Olympic football team playing in the preliminary rounds failing to qualify for the games. In 1978, he helped Suriname to win the CFU Championship hosted in Trinidad and Tobago scoring three goals against the Netherlands Antilles in the 2nd round of the tournament. [6]
After his football career he moved to Amsterdam with his family. He is the father of three children. former Dutch International Urby Emanuelson, former professional footballer Julian Emanuelson, and their sister Sharifa Emanuelson, a former basketball player. [7] Both of his Sons are products of the Ajax Youth Academy. [8] His nephew, former Suriname International Roché Emanuelson also plays professionally in Paramaribo, having won the Surinamese Footballer of the Year award in 2000.

Sport Vereniging Robinhood is a Surinamese professional football club based in Paramaribo that competes in the SVB Eerste Divisie, the highest level of football in Suriname. Founded on 6 February 1945, Robinhood is the most successful club in Surinamese football, having won a record 25 league titles, and a record of five Beker van Surinames and President's Cups apiece. The club was the first Surinamese club to make the final of a North American tournament, reaching the 1972 CONCACAF Champions' Cup final. Though making five CONCACAF club championship finals in their history, Robinhood has never won a continental title.

He also played for Holland Sport, FC Lisse, FC Türkiyemspor in the Netherlands, and for FC Lustenau 07 in Austria. Born in Suriname, he represented the Netherlands U18 national team internationally.

Edwien Reinier Schal, known as Wiene Schal is a retired Surinamese footballer who started his career as a forward for SV Transvaal in the Hoofdklasse, and for the Suriname national team. A striker for the majority of his career, he was utilized more as defender towards the end of his career. He is considered one of the greatest footballers in the countries history, having captained SV Transvaal to two CONCACAF Champions Cups and five national titles, in what is considered the golden age of the club's history.

He was the team captain for SV Robinhood for a decade during one of the club's most successful periods, having won three national titles and finishing as runners-up in the CONCACAF Champions Cup on three occasions as well. He also won the Surinamese Footballer of the Year award twice.
Delano Lloyd Rigters is a former Surinamese International football player who played his entire career in Suriname, playing for Voorwaarts, MVV, Robinhood as well as for the Suriname national team. He spent 16 years with Robinhood, finishing as the league top goal scorer four times. He also helped his club win ten national titles, having made it to the CONCACAF Champions' Cup final on three occasions.
Ronald Wilfried Kolf is a former Surinamese football manager and player who last served as the technical director of the Suriname national team and a board member of Surinamese football club S.V. Leo Victor.
