The 1992 Winter Paralympics were the fifth Winter Paralympics. They were the first Winter Paralympics to be celebrated with the International Olympic Committee cooperation. They were also the first ever Paralympics or a Winter Parasports event held in France. They were held at the resort of Tignes as a support venue of the main host city Albertville, France, from 25 March to 1 April 1992. For the first time, demonstration events in Alpine and Nordic Skiing for athletes with an intellectual disability and Biathlon for athletes with a visual impairment were held.
The 1992 Summer Paralympics were the ninth Paralympic Games to be held. They were held in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. In addition, the 1992 Paralympic Games for Persons with mental handicap were held immediately after the regular Paralympics in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
Medley swimming is a combination of four different swimming strokes into one race. This race is either swum by one swimmer as individual medley (IM) or by four swimmers as a medley relay.
The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and branded as Paris 2024, were an international multi-sport event that occurred from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in France, with several events started from 24 July. Paris was the host city, with events held in 16 additional cities spread across metropolitan France, including the sailing centre in the second-largest city of France, Marseille, on the Mediterranean Sea, as well as one subsite for surfing in Tahiti, French Polynesia.
Estonia have competed at the Paralympic Games since the 1992 Summer events. Estonian Paralympic Committee was founded on April, 1991. Best athlete Marge Kõrkjas has performed in four Paralympics and won always at least one medal, total of 7. The two other gold medalists are Annely Ojastu and Sirly Tiik.

Estonian team representatives were Estonian Paralympic Committee president and Estonian Minister of Social Affairs Toomas Vilosius, head secretary Allan Kiil, secretary Maarit Vabrit and coaches Margit Aidla, Mallika Koel, Rein Põldme and Rein Valdru. Only press member was Are Eller.

Estonian team representatives were team attaché Estonian Paralympic Committee secretary Liisa Eller, Estonian Paralympic Committee member Are Eller and coaches Kersti Viru, Eric Roots, Heiti Vahtra, Viktor Tkatsenko. Estonian flag bearer at the opening ceremony was Helena Kannus.

Football 7-a-side was contested at the Summer Paralympics between 1984 and 2016. At the 1984 Summer Paralympics, two events were held—one for men with wheelchairs and one for men standing. Every Summer Paralympics since then has consisted of only a standing men's team event; women have never competed.
Yugoslavia made its Paralympic Games début at the 1972 Summer Paralympics in Heidelberg. It did not compete at the 1976 Summer Games, but did take part in the inaugural Winter Paralympics that year in Örnsköldsvik. In 1980, 1984 and 1988, it took part in both the Summer and Winter Games.

The rowing competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris ran from 27 July to 3 August at the Stade nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne, National Olympic Nautical Stadium of Île-de-France in Vaires-sur-Marne. The number of rowers competing across fourteen gender-based categories at these Games was reduced from 526 to 502, with an equal distribution between men’s and women’s events. Despite the slight changes in athlete figures, the rowing program for Paris 2024 remained constant from the previous edition as the competition featured an equal number of categories for men and women, with seven each.
The weightlifting competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris took place from 7 to 11 August at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Several significant changes are instituted in the weightlifting program for Paris 2024, as the number of categories is trimmed from fourteen in Tokyo to ten. Furthermore, a total of 120 weightlifters, with an equal split between men and women, will compete in each of the ten weight classes, a massive drop from the 196 at the previous Games.
Athletics at the 2024 Summer Paralympics will be held at Stade de France in Paris. There will be 164 events: 90 for men, 73 for women and one mixed event, three fewer men's events than the previous Games while the women's and mixed events remain the same. It will be the largest contest of the Games programme regarding athlete numbers and medal events to be scheduled.
