The European Journal of Information Systems is a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering the theory and practice of information systems. It was established in 1991 and is an official journal of the Operational Research Society. The journal covers a diverse range of topics including technology, development, implementation, strategy, management, and policy related to the theory and practice of information systems.
According to the Journal Citation Reports , the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 9.5. [1]
Applied science is the use of the scientific method and knowledge obtained via conclusions from the method to attain practical goals. It includes a broad range of disciplines such as engineering and medicine. Applied science is often contrasted with basic science, which is focused on advancing scientific theories and laws that explain and predict natural or other phenomena.
Cheminformatics refers to the use of physical chemistry theory with computer and information science techniques—so called "in silico" techniques—in application to a range of descriptive and prescriptive problems in the field of chemistry, including in its applications to biology and related molecular fields. Such in silico techniques are used, for example, by pharmaceutical companies and in academic settings to aid and inform the process of drug discovery, for instance in the design of well-defined combinatorial libraries of synthetic compounds, or to assist in structure-based drug design. The methods can also be used in chemical and allied industries, and such fields as environmental science and pharmacology, where chemical processes are involved or studied.
Automation and Remote Control is a Russian scientific journal published by MAIK Nauka/Interperiodica Press and distributed in English by Springer Science+Business Media.
The Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by IOP Publishing, the publishing branch of the Institute of Physics. It is part of the Journal of Physics series and covers theoretical physics focusing on sophisticated mathematical and computational techniques.
Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is an annual publication by Clarivate. It has been integrated with the Web of Science and is accessed from the Web of Science Core Collection. It provides information about academic journals in the natural and social sciences, including impact factors. The JCR was originally published as a part of the Science Citation Index. Currently, the JCR, as a distinct service, is based on citations compiled from the Science Citation Index Expanded and the Social Sciences Citation Index. As of the 2023 edition, journals from the Arts and Humanities Citation Index and the Emerging Sources Citation Index will also be included.
Physics-Uspekhi is a peer-reviewed scientific journal. It is an English translation of the Russian journal of physics, Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk which was established in 1918. The journal publishes long review papers which are intended to generalize and summarize previously published results, making them easier to use and to understand. The journal covers all topics of modern physics. The English version has existed since 1958, first under the name Soviet Physics Uspekhi and after 1993 as Physics-Uspekhi. The year 2008 marked the 90th birthday with a jubilee retrospective.
Synthese is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering the epistemology, methodology, and philosophy of science, and related issues. The name Synthese finds its origin in the intentions of its founding editors: making explicit the supposed internal coherence between the different, highly specialised scientific disciplines. Jaakko Hintikka was editor-in-chief from 1965 to 2002. The current editors-in-chief are Otávio Bueno, Wiebe van der Hoek, and Kristie Miller.
Systems Research and Behavioral Science is a scientific journal for theory and research in the fields of systems sciences. It is the official publication of the International Federation for Systems Research.
Informatics is the study of computational systems. According to the ACM Europe Council and Informatics Europe, informatics is synonymous with computer science and computing as a profession, in which the central notion is transformation of information. In some cases, the term "informatics" may also be used with different meanings, e.g. in the context of social computing, or in context of library science.
The Journal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal that covers theory and practice in all areas of wikt:intelligent systems and robotics. It is published by Springer Science+Business Media and the editor-in-chief is Kimon P. Valavanis.
Information and Computation is a closed-access computer science journal published by Elsevier. The journal was founded in 1957 under its former name Information and Control and given its current title in 1987. As of July 2022, the current editor-in-chief is David Peleg. The journal publishes 12 issues a year.
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society. The editor-in-chief is Roberto Gómez García. The journal covers research on electromagnetic radiation and the relevant, physical components to achieve such radiations. It focuses on devices, intermediate parts of systems, and completed systems of the interested wavelengths, but also includes papers which emphasize theory, experiment, and applications of the subjects covered.
Complexity is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal covering the field of complex adaptive systems. The journal's scope includes Chaos theory, genetic algorithms, cellular automata, neural networks, evolutionary game theory, and econophysics. It was established in 1995 and is published by John Wiley & Sons, since 2017 in collaboration with Hindawi Publishing Corporation.
