Evelina Borroto (born 23 December 1949) is a retired Cuban volleyball player. She competed with the Cuban women's national volleyball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich and the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. [1] She helped the Cuban team win the bronze medal at the 1967 Pan American Games, and the gold medal at the 1971 and 1975 Pan American Games. [2]
Alejandrina Mireya Luis Hernández, often referred to as Mireya, is a Cuban former volleyball player and three-time Olympic gold medalist. She won gold medals at the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympics with the Cuban women's national volleyball team. She was the captain of the Cuban team from the late 1980s until her retirement.
