The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township (MSDWT) is a public school district located in the northern section of Indianapolis, Indiana , and Marion County. The district was established in 1955 and serves the area of Washington Township that was outside the city limits before the city and county were merged in 1970. As of 2016–17, MSDWT had approximately 11,482 students in grades K–12.
Odle Middle School is a public middle school in the Crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington, United States. The school is one of seven middle schools in the Bellevue School District and was named posthumously after Frank Odle, who taught in the district for 55 years before retiring in 1968. Odle is located near Stevenson Elementary, formerly a primary feeder elementary school for Odle. Odle is primarily known for its hosting of the ALS program, a gifted program for high-performing children. As of the 2023–24 school year, the school's principal is Joseph Potts and its assistant principals are Keith Altenhof and Danielle Virata.

The Avery Coonley School (ACS), commonly called Avery Coonley, is an independent, coeducational day school serving academically gifted students in preschool through eighth grade (approximately ages 3 to 14), and is located in Downers Grove, DuPage County, Illinois. The school was founded in 1906 to promote the progressive educational theories developed by John Dewey and other turn-of-the-20th-century philosophers, and was a nationally recognized model for progressive education well into the 1940s. From 1943 to 1965, Avery Coonley was part of the National College of Education (now National Louis University), serving as a living laboratory for teacher training and educational research. In the 1960s, ACS became a regional research center and a leadership hub for independent schools, and began to focus on the education of the gifted.

The educational attainment levels for the Selinsgrove Area School District population were 85.4% high school graduates and 20.8% college graduates.
